Cosmically, Batman should  not kill the Joker. As a symbol, the Joker taunts and belittles Batman's

principles. The smiling face laughs at Batman's attempt to rid the world of Evil. Ironically, it is a

logical response to Batman's madness, a reflection, if you will, of his own arrogance.

Batman tells the universe that his purpose in life is to rid it of one of its elemental forces; chaos.

In answer to that, the universe laughs at Batman in the visage of, you guessed it,

the Joker! For Batman to kill the Joker would mean that Batman has failed at doing what he swore

to do, which is to vanquish the evil that resides in the world, and in himself.

Batman is the symbol of human perfection, which is close to god. To kill the Joker would be this

symbol overreaching its purpose and becoming inhuman. The Batman would lose the human

aspect of his persona and become less than a man, an animal, in this case, the bat, which preys

at night and cannot see the light. (Man, this is deep) Batman has to remind himself, always, that

he is  a human, and to kill another human is an inhuman act. Just because he battles with

demons on their turf does not mean that he is one of them .

Hey, Bats, I think he's flipping you the bird. What are you gonna' do about it, kill him? AAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAAA!!!!

This society has been corporatized to the point of brainwashing individuals. Everything is regulated, EVERYTHING, from your job, to how people raise their kids, to parties which should have little regulation, but, nonetheless, become boring gatherings of people chanting the usual "woooos" as they do some mundane thing, like waving their hips, not-so-provocatively, or drink straight from a  bottle of Patron. My point is that superheroes, being a part of this water-downed society, should not be regulated, but, inevitably, will, because this wimpy Matrix that we live in has no room for free thinkers, or free-doers."If you're not with us, you're against us," is the company line. You can't have individual standards for which  to hold superheroes accountable, because, there is no system in place that can handle such individuality. We should call this country the United States of Corporate America from now on. Or, maybe, America, Inc.

Actresses today below the age of 30 are awful. Most of these young actresses are spoiled from childhood, being raised on Beauty and the Beast and treated like princesses until they graduate college. Then, they're supposed to portray characters from intense realities or superhuman origins and be believable! What a crock of sh*t!  (Sorry, just lamenting the loss of quality tv and film to the milque-toast society this country has become :' I )

Lara wouldn't want to live with the guilt of leaving her husband behind. Plus, what chance does a middle-aged woman who can only speak a foreign language have in this economy? Zilch.

I don't think DC should or will close the book on Bruce Wayne. He is  too closely linked to the Batman myth. The films have helped to solidify Bruce Wayne as part of the myth. If DC were to age Batman in continuity, which I seriously doubt, then I think it would be in keeping with the "Dark Knight Returns" version a la Frank Miller. Bruce will always be active as Batman, and Miller's version shows Bruce still kicking as Batman, so I think that would be the most plausible scenario.

What must it smell like with all the bat-droppings and that big, dirty, old penny in there?

@G-Man:
That's because Batman has his own online social network: "Batbook," and Zuckerberg is a little hater.

I want to know abou that secret section of the Batcave that even Dick and Alfred don't know about. What the HELL is he keeping down there?! Maybe it's an escape-hatch to China.
