Not necessarily good or evil, these beings exist only to enforce order and law, destroy chaos, and homagonize

@floopay: is In-Betweener in this list?

No, but I think there's a post or two suggesting it.

Thanks for reading,

@betatesthighlander1: lol. Love Judge Dredd being in the list.

A little surprised that Master Order was all the way down to number 6 on the list :P

I dunno if In-Between belongs. He's both Order AND Chaos.

  • Doctor Manhattan kind of falls under this category I believe. Because of his ability to perceive all time lines, yet follow the pre-destined timeline given to him.
  • Death the Kid from Soul Eater (Manga) is much the same way, as he is completely OCD about order and symmetry.
  • Ao is sort of the god of order in Faerun (Forgotten Realms). He makes sure all the other deities fall in line.
  • Yoda and the Jedi Council shouldn't be overlooked.

Very cool list though. I love the concept of abstracts. More particularly, Order and Chaos are my absolute favorite contrasts.

Thanks for reading,

That may be, but upon beating Smith he brought an end to the Machine/Human war...... there's gotta be order in that. Personally I don't think Neo ever left any program to begin with, but that's a different discussion for a different thread.... See Neo V Flynn.

but none of that was specifically to serve order

@schillenger420:

yeah, but Neo didn't beat Smith for order, he beat him for Neo's preferred chaos

that being said, Smith's matrix was a lot more uniform and oganized

Agent Smith was bringing Chaos to the Matrix.... When Neo beat him he restored order. At least that's what I took from the movies. Oh and Jesus Christ. His whole thing was to end the discord between the Jews and Gentiles.... That's gotta count as bringing order.....

@schillenger420: Neo was someone who tried to destroy the perfectly organized world of the machines

Not really.... with God, and Satan both locked away, I see no reason why there shouldn't be more order in the Universe.... On the other hand you can't really have order without Anarchy..... in the end it becomes a philosophical debate.... and since your the op here your the decider..... if it isn't, it isn't. I'd even go so far as to say that, in a sense, you could put yourself on this list as your bringing order, by moderating destroying the chaos that comes with posters not knowing what they're talking about:>)

On a serious note though, what about Neo from the Matrix.... would he fit the profile?

@betatesthighlander1: I get your point about Anarchy, but Spawn destroyed the existing status quo.... and then literally re-made, or re-ordered existence..... He literally created order.... after he destroyed it:>)

that's kinda no net change in order

@schillenger420:

well, anarchy is kind of the opposite of order

as for Spawn, breaking the status quo is kind of destroying order

Perhaps I don't understand the rules too well, but going on complete ignorance of what people are talking about:>)...... I would add Satan/Lucifer Morningstar to this list as well... he's the Ultimate Humanist.... just wants people to be allowed to do what they want.... I guess in a sense you could say the Ultimate Anarchist. On the other hand God/Spawn should be here as well since he was able to take out Both Heaven and Hell, lock God and Satan away in their own dimension, then remade the universe.....

@betatesthighlander1:

He costume design is black on one side and white on the other. His eye on the black side is surrounded by a white circle. The black side was surrounded by a black star. He's a balancer, and he only does anything to keep the balance between good and bad.

I like this list. There is someone that would fit this list perfectly but I have to remember his name.

How about Palpatine? He simply wants peace and order in the galaxy the way Darkseid does to Apokolips. :D
