Can we as fans NOT use the word "raped" to refer to the Mandarin story twist, please? This isn't XBox Live, let's try to be at least a little less offensive than that.
I really like the "Legacy" Books but the visual design of Cade Skywalker is TERRIBLE. He looks like he was crapped out by some marketing team. Luke Skywalker was a dork, it's part of the reason we like him.
I was at ECCC last year and I think when someone asked Mike if he was planning more "Lobster" work the reply was along the lines of "love to but I have a lot on my plate already."
I might be in the minority but even this quick glimpse of the book has me down. It looks like some heavy re-writing of the events as laid out in the original run of Ender books. Putting aside the fact that Card hasn't been the same writer since his work post- "Xenocide" and may in fact be insane now, I really don't like the "Avatar" feel coming off those images.
