I hadn't really been a fan of newer comics up until recently, but now that I have been looking there are a significant few that have truly peaked my interest. 

1. Haunt- This comic has really caught my interest. I understand the powers of Haunt could very well be seen as unoriginal, but really what is original nowadays? Haunt will continue to be on my buying list until the series ends (knock on wood), or else the creators rub me the wrong way, which I seriously doubt will happen.
2. Daken: Dark Wolverine- Once again I've been blown away. I love this comic! With the burning intensity of a thousand suns I run to the local comic shop monthly foaming at the mouth praying to (insert your god here) that it is in. The darkness that is portrayed in this comic really makes this character one that i will keep on coming back for.
3. Wolverine (2010)- This newer series of Wolverine has yet to disappoint. With a new exciting storyline ending with him, from what I assume to be Wolverine getting sodomized by Satan himself to him attacking his friends and family this comic has proven itself to be well worth the $2.99 I paid for it.
