Big Bang Theroy???

Can anyone tell me where the very first atom came from. Nope? Thats why i believe in a god. Nothing cant create something. Look at anything in the world. Does anything get better by just leaving it alone? No it doesn't. Thats why i believe there is a god also.

About 300,000 years after the Big Bang.

Posted by sesquipedalophobe

Sigh, one of these.

Posted by batman11223

that doesnt really tell me where the very first atom ever came from

Posted by Supreme Marvel

@batman11223: According to the standard model there was no "first" atom. Atoms do not multiply like cells. They were formed after the Big Bang. The first to form were hydrogen - since they only require a proton and an electron. 3 minutes after the Big Bang protons formed, which are essentially hydrogen nuclei, then after 300,000 years the universe was cool enough for the nuclei to combine with electrons to produce hydrogen atoms.

Posted by batman11223

so what really was there to come together. Was it just nothing randomly colliding. And then Where did the very first proton or electron come from.

@sesquipedalophobe: well you obviously wasted your time to write on this blog. So it must mean you care somewhat.

Cool Story Bro

@batman11223: From the big bang there were two particles that spread across the universe, hydrogen and helium.

Posted by batman11223

@Supreme Marvel: so where did the particles come from? I mean there had to be a first particle. there couldnt of been nothing

No, I care. It's just the manner in which you disregard certain things as a basis for faith. The atom could be beneficial toward your argument. Still, I have seen you make comments before that you didn't back up and otherwise admitted to "joking around." I've seen baiting before.

@batman11223: They came from the big bang.

Posted by Supreme Marvel

@sesquipedalophobe: So he's just trolling me?

Posted by batman11223

no im not seriously. how can nothing create something. I never understood that. it makes no logical sense

Damn it. I thought it was about the show..

Posted by Supreme Marvel

Well, I could easily say, 'where does God come from?' by that logic.

Posted by sesquipedalophobe

@batman11223: A continuum makes sense. Apply that to God theory and move on. This might work with the second part of your beginning post, right?

@Supreme Marvel: I prefer the term baiting, but maybe.

Posted by batman11223

so basically were at a stalemate. Now the question is do you believe that nothing created itself or maybe and all powerful god created us and purposely didn't make us smart enough to comprehend how the world was created. I mean how do we expect to be knowledgeable as an all powerful god.

Posted by Supreme Marvel

@batman11223: I don't believe in a god or a creator. I believe in the Big Bang and evolution. I don't believe humanity are as important as it claims to be. We have intelligence and what do we do with this intelligence? Fight wars, kill people, lie, cheat, steal and more. We're a very ugly race. One day I hope humanity, if it doesn't kill itself unites and has goals of bettering itself. Not relying on a being that there is no proof of.

Posted by batman11223

@Supreme Marvel: well then i guess that would mean that we were created for no reason. And when we die i guess that's it. Don't you see how complex and detailed some things are like for example the human body and animals, just the way our bodies work. i mean how does absolute nothing just create something so complex. Thats up to you, but i respect your beliefs bro. Just sharin.

Posted by Supreme Marvel

@batman11223: I understand how the body works, and how intricate the brain is. Life does amaze me. How people act, why they act that way. The fact that two people are so different and yet, they're so alike. I love seeing things like that. Doesn't make me believe that there is meaning to it all. I do believe, once your brain shuts down, you are dead. Nothing happens after that. But it's the journey you make between the life and death part. I try and enjoy my life. Not to take anything too serious. Have fun when I can. Be around loved ones and share it. It's a great feeling to have. My only thought is that I've helped some one beyond the point of my death. And made people happy while I was here.

Posted by batman11223

in a nutshell i just think its logical to believe that something that has been created has a creator. Nothing creates itself

Posted by Supreme Marvel

@batman11223: If you do research into yourself. You might find an answer that makes sense to you.

This is great.

Faith/Religion/Atheism is personal and private, everyone needs to shut the F*CK up about it.

Evangelism is only a bad thing, whether it be religious or atheistic.

It came from Captain Atom. Deal.

@batman11223: Sorry I need to bring this up, but because you are not educated in how the world/ Universe was made then we must assume that god is real? I like how you thought this out! "The heart of him who has understanding seeks knowledge, but the mouths of fools feed on folly."

@CitizenBane: Win comment.

I believe that religion and science are the same thing in a different language@Final Arrow said:

I second this.

The logic of "nothing can't create something" is flawed because it can be used against God as well. Where did He come from? Who created him?

I'm an atheist but I've taken my time to study the religions that peak my interest. As far as how holy books describe the creation of the universe, I find it illogical honestly. Now I respect all religions but the thing is that there is actually evidence of the Big Bang. The existence of cosmic microwave background radiation is proof. The expansion of the universe is proof as well because for something to expand, it must have been smaller in the past so the expansion of the universe clearly suggests that at one point the universe was very very small.

Can anyone tell me where the very first Fruit Loop came from. Nope? Thats why i believe in a Captain Crunch and Tony the Tiger. Nothing can create something. I mean, even though its hard for humans to sometimes understand that knowing words doesn't actually mean understanding words and concepts. Look at milk in the world. Does it get fresher by just leaving it alone? No it doesn't. Thats why I believe it is butter also.

The first atom? Big bang theroy? Here's how it all went down.

(God calculating the odds of life arising on planets)

Angel: Well that's a lot better than we usually do.

God: Alright, times up, let's do this. Big bang Theeeeeeeeeeeeeroy JJJjjjjjenkinsss' [theory of world making]

....<universe is created with only Earth being inhabited by creatures>...

2nd Angel: God, you are just stupid.

God: Least I ain't chicken.
