I'm glad Peter's back, but I don't think I can keep reading Spider-Man with Slott writing. This whole Superior thing was just plain odd. Also, the way everything was left at the end of this issue I'm not liking the future of Spider-Man as long as Slott is calling the shots.
I thought the issue was awesome. I also don't like the break in the arc though. Also, Dustin Nguyen's pencils are phenomenal. I wouldn't mind having him and Capullo split the work on Batman if we got it every two weeks, like with Spider-Man.
I know you like to bring up Ben Reilly and the Clone Saga a lot, I was wondering if you think that the Jackal being in a lot of the recent Spider-Man issues could mean that we will see the return of Ben Reilly at all? Love the podcast format just as much as the video, thanks.
Hey Comic Vine, Do you guys think it's possible that Peter Parker returned as Spider-Man before Age of Ultron, because the Spider-Man there is a lot like Peter, or is it just an oversight on Marvel's part because this was supposed to come out before Marvel Now!? It's really weird reading it, and I'm starting to wonder if this is just an alternate universe or something.
Batman Inc. number 8 really pissed me off. I know people don't like when comic book deaths aren't "real" but I really hope this is reversed soon. I just re read the Batman and Robin Annual and it really made me mad because it was one of the best Damian stories, and now we wont get to see any more Damian stories which sucks.
Hey Tony, I'm fairly new to comics, but I've been loving Scott Snyder's Batman and Detective Comics and Geoff John's work on GL and Aquaman. What DC trades would you recommend? I would also like to know what Marvel trades I should check out, thank you.
