They separated them so that they could make Superman more relatable to a younger audience, however in my opinion, disconnecting him from Lois also disconnects him from humanity. Ironically, this makes the character tougher to identify with, and in the end, harder to like. Lois was his tether to humanity, and it is pointless to break them apart when everyone knows they will get back together again in the end.

I totally agree. Lois Lane was what made Superman more human.

No matter how god-like and extraordinary Superman was, Lois always brought him back down to earth. His love for humanity can be attributed a great deal to Lois, and he would be willing to sacrifice everything just to see her and to make sure she's safe. Their relationship was what made me admire Superman. His righteous morals and values can be reflected through his love for her.

I always feel great after reading a comic where Superman does something so amazing; such as defeating multiple doomsdays in space, almost dying, and saving the earth; but all he wants to do is go back and spend the rest of the day with his wife.

With so many player superheroes out there, isn't it a relief to know that there is atleast one hero that can stay with one woman and that their love can stand the test of time and multiverses? Superman and Lois Lane has become an iconic couple and I doubt the writers will keep them separated for good.

I do agree with both of you in a way.

But considering the fact that Superman was rebooted, its hard and/or strange to have him start the career being already in a relationship with Lois Lane. Besides, I feel like ever since Lois got married to Clark, she has been written alot more of a housewive than the investigative journalist that she is. I would prefer her to be written as a strong female character than a housewife. Not that marriage and career cant co-exist, but people just seemed to get more wrapped up in their love lives than her journalism. Plus the writers have not been writing her in that way ever since they got married.

That's true too. I think since it's just the beginning, they're going to give Superman and Lois Lane's relationship a bumpy start to bring more intrigue and give their love story more depth, but further in, they'll probably end up together. And when they do end up together, that'll bring a sigh of relief to many fans.

Watching a lot of DC Animated series's got me into comics. When I was younger I'd love to watch Batman Beyond, Justice League, and Static Shock.

Superhero movies really helped a lot when I was younger too, especially the X-men movies, Batman Begins, and the Spiderman trilogy.

As I got older, I started watching anime, which lead into reading manga, which brought back my love for superheroes and motivated me into reading comic books.

The Rebels: Damian Wayne, Jason Todd, Cassandra Cain, Huntress, Talia al Ghul, Azrael (Michael Lane)

VS

The Righteous: Tim Drake, Nightwing, Stephanie Brown, Batwoman, Catwoman, Batman Beyond (Terry McGinnis)

Then:

  • Bat/Catwoman take down Talia
  • Tim, Dick, Batwoman, Catwoman vs Cass: Team takes it
  • Team + Terry > Azrael

Team Righteous should take this, imo.

Interesting strategy, but then again, this could apply to Team Rebel as well.

For example, Damian Wayne and Jason Todd could take down Nightwing, Cassandra and Huntress take out Tim Drake, etc.

The whole team with Azrael could then proceed to take down Terry.

Team Righteous got this, both teams have some great and more modest fighters but Terry in his suit is a cut above the rest. And the Righteous will have superior numbers as the Rebels start to go down. Damian Wayne vs. Tim Drake = Tim wins; Jason Todd vs. Nightwing = Nightwing wins; Cassandra Cain vs. Stephanie Brown = Cain wins; Huntress vs. Batwoman = Batwoman wins; Talia al Ghul vs. Catwoman = Probably Talia win; Azrael (Michael Lane) Batman Beyond (Terry McGinnis) = Terry wins; So after a few minutes, it's be Cassandra and Talia against Tim, Nightwing, Batwoman and Terry.

I'm unsure about some of the winners of these matches. I think Damian, Huntress, and Azrael have the capabilities to defeat the people you matched them up with in battle. Then again perhaps the match ups could be differently. I think Cassandra Cain would go for a stronger adversary than Stephanie Brown. I also think that Tim Drake would try to fight someone other than Damian.

Even if the match goes as you predicted, I think Nightwing, Batwoman, Tim, and Terry would be worn out from their matches since they've been paired up with difficult people to beat. Also, Nightwing and Tim would be exhausted mentally, and Terry's suit would probably have taken a lot of damage from Azrael. This leaves them open to Cassandra Cain's attacks, who is still in a good condition since her match was fairly easy.

catwoman is on the righteous team?

In comparison to Talia, yeah. I would've put Oracle on Team Righteous and Catwoman on Team Rebel, but Barbara isn't as good in a fight when dealing with the rest of the bat-family.
