Batman Detective Comics #15 0

A very enjoyable issue! John Layman is doing a great job with giving the villains some depth. Both Poison Ivy and Clayface invite some empathy from the reader. Even Penguin's approaching staff conflict and his fear of the Joker's looming presence ally the reader with Penguin. I always like it when Batman has to do some kind of investigating. I read some reviews that didn't like the Batman flame suit, but for all the action figures they've made, I like it when they throw in the occasional special...

The Amazing Spiderman Review (no spoilers) 0

THE AMAZINGGood ol' Spidey action!Spidey's movements were a lot more gangly and spider-like (as depicted in the most popular artists' renditions of the character i.e. Steve Ditko, Todd McFarlane, and Mark Bagley). The action scenes are worth the 3D ticket.
