Fiercest Females

*Finally done with all the explanations!

MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE!! Fell in love with her as a young boy back in the Jim Lee days, and now I'm completely obsessed with her. Own hundreds of comics she appears in. There's nothing I don't know about her!! I'd like to think that's why I'm top wiki editor on her page ;) Love her White, love her Asian, and I will always buy any comic she appears in. Don't want to come off as a crazy fan boy, but for years, I have been completely and utterly, obsessed with her!
Favourite DC villain. Love her design and character. First came across her during the awesome Batman animated series where she was created. Awesome character even in the cartoon and also genuinely funny :)
My favourite DC character. Love everything about her from costume to powers to personality to her complicated (and sometimes evil) history. Shes just awesome in many many ways!
Another strong fav from me. Probably the only comic book character I am genuinely attracted to (something that scares me and makes me want to enter deep psychological help). Strong personality and powers, and I've always been a fan of the Dick/Kory relationship (Sorry Babs!)
Ah, one of my all-time favourites. Fell in love with her in the good ol' Jim Lee/Wolverine days. She was a big, shiny, bright ball of fun to light up the depressing early nineties! Awesome powers and design, loved her early interactions with Psylocke and her Generation X days. Not a big fan of the power-loss/New Warriors time, but I'm glad she's back in the X books, Vampire or not!
Gotta' love this blonde southern bell. Always loved her design and her ambition to try and leave the stereotypical view of a Southerner behind her. Always loved her in Generation X and she was an awesome X-Man. Please someone put her back on the team! Even though her powers may be a bit gross, I've always loved it! Loved Carey's take on her in Legacy, great to see her out of Limbo and back in the X-Men's lifes. Just hope she doesn't fall back there again!!
Awesome character from the nostalgic Alpha Flight days. Loved her costume and powers. Sad to see her die recently, but I'm glad it was in an X-Men book and not by that stinkin' collecive or in that horrible 'did they or didn't they die' Neverland Ranch! It was also nice she got a send off in that story in Nation X, very well done.
Some people may not know of Nanao because she's in the Japanese manga Bleach. While probably most people on this site would of heard of Bleach, most may not of heard of Nanao who is a relatively minor character in the series. But I've always been a sucker for minor characters and Nanao is a prime example. She has a cool design and interesting personality.
Such a cool strong character, awesome design and sexy blonde plaits. I'm so glad she's back in the spotlight, haven't seen her since Ragnarok, can't wait to see what happened to her in her up-coming one-shot!
Obviously through my love of Psylocke my love of Revanche was born. I'm a huge fan of both British and Ninja Betsy, so it's so cool that her British body was given a new cool character, design and powers. Shame she died so soon after being introduced and a shame there's no possible way of her return (stupid Matsuo destroying her body!!) well this is comics after all, I'm sure they could find a way to bring her back if they wanted, just seems very unlikely!
Love Huntress. Fell for her in Jim Lee's Hush. His rendition of her was so deadly yet beautiful. Love her strong, independent personality. Always wanted her to be with Bats. Love the purple costume (skimpy as it may be ;) ) and I've always loved the pointy masks in comics. She's a winner.
Why doesn't she ditch Green Arrow? He's nothing but trouble!? So self-obsessed and neglectful! I've never understood why Dinah would stay with him? It contradicts her personality!? Urch, well anyway who doesn't love a blonde in fishnets who can kick your ass and scream her head off??
Love this teenage blondie, loved her origin and her design. She's probably one of the most relatable heroes to me.
One of my all time favourites. I just love everything about her. Powers, history, costume, personality, design. Always loved a magic girl and Michael Tuener's version of her can't be beat! I really hope her solo ongoing goes well!
Gotta' love a bit of Dawnie, I'm really curious to see where Birds of Prey and Brightest Day leads her, I also want to see the mystery behind her new powers. It's gonna be a good next few years for Dove!
So glad she was brought back, even if the whole 'never was dead in the first place' ret-con was a bit messy. Glad she got a new ongoing with Hawkeye to give her the limelight again plus her membership with the New Avengers. And btw, I don't like her new jacket.
Probably the most interesting new member Avengers Academy. Love her powers, design and personality and I can't wait to see where her future leads her...
Well, well, well, who would of thunk that Natasha would of had her own solo series and star in major Hollywood films a few years ago? I'm proud of my girl! Gotta love the sexy Russian spy, so classic!
Love her motivations and past. She's got the coolest powers and costumes (gotta love the butterfly wings!) and I'm so glad she's the only character to be involved in EVERY Thunderbolts series and new team formation in some way or another. And she was deadly in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 with her sonic scream, it was the best way to quickly handle big robots and bosses. My kill count with her was very impressive and she was always included on my team!
Oh Ali. So awesome in more ways than one. Completely under-estimated by writers who don't know what she can do (apart from her original series, in New Excalibur and in her recent one-shot)
The version I like more is of course the Exiles Blink. She was strong and confident with cool powers and design. I did initially like the 616 version of Blink, her sacrifice was honorable and tragic, and though I'm glad she was brought back, I'm not so happy that she was a villain. Though I suppose it's more interesting that she was a villain as we've had a heroic Blink for years
Huge love for the original female Avenger, she's hardly not been on an Avengers roster and for good reason. With the good looks of a super-model and the style of a fashion designer, she was not just beautiful but also deadly. I see her death at the end of Secret Invasion was poorly handled, I think she was used because she's a beloved character and because she's never died before. Her death seemed quick and rushed to me, just didn't get to me as emotionally as saaay Nightcrawler's death
A character I've always been able to relate to, which is why she's probably a fan favourite. Her sacrifice in the bullet was beautiful and well-handled, so tragic. She shined in the Astonishing series, which started in her return to the mansion and (should of) ended when she was lost in space. Her interactions with Emma was priceless and her relationships with Colossus, Cypher and Lockheed only added to her character.
Well, love her or hate her, you can't say she isn't an iconic X-Men character, which is usually un-likely as she's only come to the A-List X-Men front in the last decade. But in that short time she sure worked her way to the top! She's achieved what most female X-Men(who've been X-Men a lot longer!) like Polaris, Psylocke, Dazzler ect. have never been able to acheive.
The original Wonder Girl, Donna has now ascended to something bigger than just a side-kick. Just look at her, she's awesome.
Noticed this character in the cartoons and didn't understand why she'd been chosen over other female members of the League or even over Hawkman himself! But after a while, I've grown to love Hawkgirl, in all her many incarnations over the centuries
I think Stephanie gets a hard time, people don't think she was experienced enough to be Robin or Bat-girl, but there's something enduring about her, so I wishher the best in her solo series!
Love the name, costume, design, powers and the character. Love it.
I've always had a thing for old 'noir' heroes, and blonde phantom is the best of the bunch! She's sexy and dangerous. And you've got to love that Domino mask!
She's so much better in the black costume, so much more sexy and interesting. And I know it's too late to change the name but really Mary Marvel? Not even Ms.Marvel or Marvel Girl, hey they sound familiar...
Just fell in love with her when she was introduced in Batman/Superman. Michael Turner just made me love her. She's so awesome.
The original Amazing Friend, an in no way a Human Torch rip-off!! Different powers different personality. Firestar could be extremely deadly and fatal if she wanted to be, but her powers come at a price, which is always a good recipe for a hero. You've gone through her, her whole career, as a Hellion, New Warrior, an Avenger then eventually retired! But now she's back with the Divas and the Young Allies. I'm doubtful Young Allies will last that long, but hopefully we can see her as an Avenger again!
X-23 was always a way more interesting character to me than Wolverine. Being a teenager it's cool to see how she was created in the X-23 mini series (which were amazing!) So much angst, it's great! She had a good team of people in her comic book life Mike Choi, Billy Tan, Craig Kyle and Chris Yost all made her what she is and I'm looking forward to the new series!
The first creator on my list, in my opinion there's a great lack of superb female writers in the industry and Liu is one that has stuck out for me, I haven't had a chance to read Dark Wolverine and Black Widow but NYX and X-23 were amazing and I can't wait to read the X-23 ongoing written by her
Awww everyone loves a bit of Pixie, she's so cute and innocent and it's rare you see a girl from the Valley being in a mainstream book. I love her design and powers and I hope she gets the chance to develop more magical abilities and I want to see more Illyana/Meggan interaction!! Hellbound was good and New Mutants has recently shown more interaction.
The very first X-Gal had to be on my list. This fiery red-head is probably one of the most famous heroines in comic history, and I do want to see her return, it just has to be handled well. I'd prefer her to go back to be being 'Marve;-Girl' rather than 'Phoenix'. LONG LIVE JEAN!
Admit it, everyone has a little thing for Cat-Women, and Tigra is definitely the Ultimate Cat-Woman!! I'm so happy that she's being utilized in Avengers Academy and how she was used in The Initiative, and not falling into Comic-Book Avenger Limbo. She's sleek, sexy and dangerous. My kind of gal.
Now here is one character in Comic-Book Avenger Limbo. No one really cares about Firebird but I do. She's a strong character, who's got a good origin and cool powers (pun not intended)Plus she's super sexy!
The powerful and mysterious Sersi has always been a more obscure fav for me, I've never really liked the Eternals but Sersi always stuck out for me, I hope she returns to the Avengers one day...
Victoria was stand-out in the dark avengers, a strong, capable woman. She's shown to be a lesbian but it doesn't feel gimmky and it in no way defines her character *cough Northstar cough*
It's strange how similar her painted style is to her husbands, maybe he taught her, or she taught him. Regardless you can still tell the difference between a Jelena piece and Marko piece, she still stands on her own. I love her Women of Marvel variants and her run on Web of Spider-Man, Heralds and X-Men:Die by the sword. I'm glad she's getting plenty of work
Fell in love with her in the 90's Spider-Man cartoon, which stayed quite faithful to her comic book counterpart. I think she's got a cool origin and appearance, and so what if she's a rip off of Catwoman, Black Cat has still made a name for herself, she's not only known by regular comic book readers, but she's also known by people who've never picked up a comic in their life!!
I've got a thing for ninjas. I'm not gonna deny it. Colleen is just so cool!
I'll admit it, I've got a thing for sassy black women with attitude. And Misty Knight is a fine example
My all time favourite Anime and Manga character, if you know her than you know she doesn't appear much, but I'm a sucker for those type of characters. I love her design and techniques and pray to god she appears more often!
Bleach character, genuinely funny with cool powers and design. Lover herrrr!!
Cute small pink haired girl which contradicts with her comfortability with violence and blood! Very cute and funny but I want to see more of her powers!
Busty shinigami was cool powers and a wicked personality. You know it's bad when you know someone in real life who is EXACTLY like Rangiku. Very fun and opening with genuinely touching moments with Gin!!
Ill fated member of the scooby gang. Buffy is one of my all time favourite shows. The character development was a key reason that got me hooked, and Tara's gentle presence on Willow and the group was very well done. Her death was one of the best moments in television imo. Plus she's a witch, so that just makes her cool!
Buffy Summers. Snm.
My mouth fell open when she was brought back in Blackest Night. I loved her and was so sad when she died¬ But after a lengthy absence, she's back! And has a very important role to play in the Brightest Day...
One of the coolest characters to be made in the past few years. Just...so....awesome! Kid or adult, Layla has the great presence that is rare to obtain in a comic book. I know it's cliché but.... she knows stuff.
Poor Laurie... I...I...don't wanna talk about it...
I've always loved Dani, she's been through a lot of changes but is still really awesome, even now, she's depowered and is still kickin ass. The heart of the team, Moonstar has always been the my favorite New Mutant.
An under valued member of the team, even when she was first introduced, only lasting a few issues on the team before leaving. Battling few other issues that other super heroes do (like being obese and being a lesbian, Karma still rocks the pages of the new series of New Mutants. With an interesting dynamic with Magik and a robot leg, Karma has been one of the most valued members of the new series, most of the time saving their butts with her psychic prowess! And her tiny stint on Uncanny X-Men as an actual X-Man did make me squeal like a girl, even if it was written by Matt Fraction....Plus look at that gorgeous image of her by Adi Gravnov...what's not to love!? Keep rockin the Bands Xi'an!
I really don't think this needs an explanation? Do you? If so, please research the following sources...
1) Nextwave
2)X-Force Volume 1
3)The last 30 issues of New Mutants
4) aaaaaaaaaaaaaand an awesome origin which occurred in a big Marvel cross over. Not many can claim that unless you're Arachne, the Symbiote or Hope...
The question mark of the New Mutants and little sister to X-Man Colossus, Illyana is a force to be reckoned with, combining magic with swordsmanship with mutant powers with demonic influence. Definitely the most interest and mysterious member, she has recently returned to the world of X and has been taking names ever since, and with her soul all put back together, who knows what she'll get up to next...
Marvel's premiere heroine, Carol is a one woman machine who' achieved a lot in terms of popularity in the last few years. Loved her through her Warbird era and her years of battle with Rogue is one best expanded plot lines I've seen in years
Ironically I first noticed and grew to love Jessica when she was actually the Skrull Queen Veranke! Which messed up her appearances here on the vine, not that she needed them as she's remained mainstream ever since. Loved the Bendis and Maleev series even though it was cut short due to Maleev's schedule not allowing it (good luck new moon knight series...), however she's the only female member of the core Avengers team, where she belongs
It's impossible not to like Mary Jane, she's everything I look for in a female, and not just comic book character! She's feisty and is in no way a push-over! Face it Tiger, you love Mary Jane
Tragic character of a genuine character. I feel her death was so epic because she was so relatable, and while I do miss her, I feel it's best to keep her on the other side
Always loved this spider-lady, so complex, very different from other heroines, having brush ins with villainy and the law and Ms.Marvel! Miss her old Avengers glory days, but curious to see where her new Madame Web identity takes her, but I would prefer her in her old black costume still trying to protect her daughter : )
Everyone knows who Storm is. Comic book fan or muggle. She's a force of nature (pun intended)and a list about super-hero females would just be hollow without Marvel's no.1 super heroine.
Criminally under-used and under-appreciated, Diamondback is a really awesome character but is never truly appreciated by comic reader and writer a like. She really shone in the Initative but has fallen completely off the radar, teaching position in Avengers Academy anyone?
She's so awesome in secret wars, make her an avenger!!!!
How was this girl never an Avenger? At least she's found her own little place in the Marvel U
Deliciously manipulative and conniving, Moonstone is a major threat, being able to handle the Hulk and wiping the floor with Rogue, recently hitting up in the big leagues in Dark Reign and now a forced member of the the Thunderbolts, many more mean Moonstone moments lay ahead...
Awesome Robot wifey who's rightly come back to the Avengers franchise, now with a major case of the green eyed monster, that Pym is such a charmer with the artificial
A creator on my list who draws awesome mangafied work and has made it on the comic circuit, love her work and I'mm so excited that she's continued on interiors, but more importantly hope she keeps on drawing some of my favourite females ;)
White Tiger for the Avengers anyone? Pick up her mini series!!
Time displaced pilot who works with the birds of prey
Awesome new villain who embodies all the qualities I love....which is basically being a ninja assassin...plus super pretty in a deadly, evil way
Quintessential secret sexy spy who really shines in the secret warriors series
I'm a sucka for a green haired gal especially a villainous, spy one, not a huge fan of the tentacle head though...
Cool and sexy character, while many people criticize Rob Liefield, he did make some awesome comics and characters, one of them being the lucky, trigger happy, mercenary Domino. Wish she would re-surface again though after such a cool run on X-Factor
I kinda like really horrible woman who like violence....and cat ladies
I'm a huge fan of the old Moore and Davis Captain Britain and Claremont and Davis Excalibur and Meggan was the heart of those comics, always sticking with Cap (well not always, I'm lookin at you Nightcrawler and Colossus!) her death was touching and truly saddening but now she's back with an awful code name and costume :/ come back my elfish empath!
I loved the Exiles and loved Nocturne and was ecstatic when she made it into the 616 universe, but has completely fallen into Limbo. Plus, her and Blink made a calourful set of best friends, pardon the terrible joke.
Short lived firery female, and if I'm honest, I was only probably fond of her because of her powers and because she was drawn by Salvador Lorroca! She was the cousin of Sunfire and was literally like the female version of him, down to costume, powers and personality!
Booo Ripcord, yaaay the awesome Stacy X with awesome powers and personality. She really shook things up back in the day in the X-Men and then she was de-powered, given a different power-set, badly written, then killed. Good one.
Supes Smallville Sweetheart, sometimes wish she could keep some of her insect queen powers though, plus Kristen Kreuk? What a hottie.
Mistress of Magnetism and green haired wonder of X fame, all kinds of awesome
Tragic fate for a character that could of been awesome
One of my faves which is odd because you never get to see her! Was so excited when she was re-introduced in the X-Men's world, but was then cruelly taken away :( can't wait for the upcoming mini. The concept of cloak and dagger has always been an inspired one, so beautiful and lasting
How can you not like her? A red head that kicks major arse whilst almost never keeping her clothes on? What more could you want?
Inter galactic butt kicking green skinned babe
One half of the fire/ice duo with a fiery nature and awesome green power form
I prefer Ice out of the duo, but only because she is so beautiful and graceful
One of my fav street fighter characters with cool costumes and a awesome story
Savage assassin from the DC U. Always liked it when the worlds of good and evil become intertwined, but never trust Cheshire, ever.
Savage Lander or Marauder, Vertigo always brightens up a scene, just wish there was more to her character
Never played dalkstalkers but i've played plenty of versus games, and Morrigan's always a fave to pick. She is easily the sexiest character to play as in MVC3, her mannerisms and little movements are simply hot! I know she's not real and everything and she's a succubus so you'd end up dead if you ever got anything, but Morrigan is super sexy!!
My absolute favourite Tekken character. Rarely pick anyone else, just love her and fight set. No one can beat me with her. No one. Any challengers feel free to pick a fight if you have a ps3 ;)
Confused about the many different versions of the Squadron Supreme? You're not alone, just know that this WW inspired lady is awesome...and carries off purple as good as Psylocke
BRING MARROW BACK! I miss her :( she was so awesome and fresh when she was an X-Man and now she's no where to be seen!
Wonderful colourist, her and J Scott Cambell are one of my fav comic art tag-teams but her colours on Blackest Night was amazing
One of the best, if not, the best female comic book artists, her work is stunning and realistic, you can spot er work out of a line up and never be dissapointed
Think WW is the only Amazon to bring the pain? Enter Artemis.
Beautiful, winged member of the Legion
I'm a huge fan of the Teen Titans, and I've been with Cassie since issue one of the latest volume, she's been the most consistent member of the team and will always remain at its heart
Where the hell is Echo!? I loved her in New Avengers and then she inexplicably dissapears after Secret Invasion? Laaaaaame! The design and concept behind her is so beautiful, I long for the day when she returns!
Elektra used to hold the mantle of my all time favourite female when I was growing up, while that may of changed as I grew up, she still holds a place in my list
Rootin tootin mutant who really needs to rake a bigger role in X related books! She's be so awesome in the X-Men
One of my favourite X-Students, she's really come into her own in recent months, with lethal powers and a kick ass personality to match. Plus she has a strange connection to Namor and has subsequently become a recurring cast member in his book, weird huh?!
Amy draws really lovely pictures who's gonna hot the big time with the Batwoman ongoing
Booo to the cancellation of Madame Xanadu! The art was so gorgeous :(
Reformed telepath who now fights inter-galactic evil, always knew Heather was bigger than this planet!
Love Stormy, such a classic design and story, she also shows the more human aspects of being human, with her recent attempted suicide, wish she'd step up as a bugger player in the DC U though!
Never knew of the character before I got Nextwave, but like very other character in that series, I love her
Shapeshifting mutant who was always exciting when she appeared, tragically died in Deadpool's arms, the man she loved, she brought out a rare and tragic human side to Wade
Love the Young Avengers and I can't help but fall in love with an archer, especially one drawn by Jim Cheung, I always prefered her with the Mockingbird mask though, looked so cool
Only ever picked up a few Sandman issues, brilliant concepts and a brilliant twist on the concept of death
Her and her husband, Mike Choi are the dream team. Beautiful art, her and her husband make some of the industry's best work, whatever title they work on, I'll pick it up.
Anyone who reads or watched Soul Eater will tell you Blair is hot. Full stop.
Lovely lady who also draws lovely ladies
Damn I love her and damn I wish she appeared more and wasn't recently ermm destroyed...damn how I hate Hellion
Super duper powered fatale, more than a match for Supes and I hate to see how she still isn't around, but her death was so honourable
No idea why she's so low down, but I completely forgot about everyones favourite Southern Belle!? She's gone threw a lot in her career, in-fact, theres not many mainstream characters you can find that have changed as much as she has. A popular character both in the comic world and in the non-comic world, Rogue is one of the most diverse and interesting characters that has still maintained their charm after many years in heavy spotlight
Gail has a twisted brain. But an awesome one. Writing and developing some of my favourite characters, she rightly earns a place on the list for being an awesome writer in a dominant male industry. Well done Gail! Keep on goin in the big leagues!
Every hero needs a determined investigator love interest...well every DC one
Poor Duela :( she was so awesome! Everything about her told you she was a villain, but was ultimately the opposite, always a hero, and a entertaining one at that!
I am obviously a HUGE Buffy fan, and Cordelia is the cover girl for the series trademark of growing up and developing. Going from bitcy cheerleader (win) to all-seeing power (double win), Cordelia is a character I will always cherish
Many people, including me, didn't like Maria because of her bitch cold ways in Secret Wars/Civil Wars, but after Secret Invasion, my opinion completely changed. She's a strong character who doesn't mind getting jiggy with Iron Man every once in a while!
Basically a replacement for teen sidekick on the Astonishing X-Men roster, but a replacement I welcome. Armor's concept and powers is completely original, not many young teenage heroines' powers rely on an un-sexy brute force! But with Armor it works. I love Joss Whedon, and I love his characters, especially Armor. Hoping one day her powers may develop, and she'll be able to acquire a more 'streamlined' armor more fitting to her body...
Beautiful character who really shone in the Avengers, such a shame she falls into obscurity so regulary. Plus she can kill you in one hit. Pretty awesome.
Classic villainess who easily fits into comics most recognized 'villain hall of fame', sexy and manipulative, Ivy is one of the most devious divas in the comic book world!
Beautiful artist with a wicked sense of humour and hilarious pencils
While she is a carbon copy of my gal Psylocke, I think that's exactly why I like her! I really like purple glowy ladies with crazy fighting skills!
Wish she had more of a chance to shine, always have a soft spot for British characters
Basically a DC Psylocke with a twist. Probs why I like her so much ;)
Glad she's sticking to the mantle, it's about time we had a 616 Spider-Girl, but she was pretty awesome as plain old Arana before anyway! But it's great she's being integrated into the wider Universe
I like a lady in a mask, Masque is no different, but also a femme fatale and a woman who knows what she wants, and I'm curious to see where she'll go now that the Hood has healed her scars...
Barda come back, I miss you :(
Sassy girlfriend of the big red. Everyone knows who Lois Lane is, so no more needs to be said...
Can't believe I only remembered Selina till now! I frickin love her! And who doesn't!? I haven't come across one person who doesn't love her. Always get a tingle when she appears, so sexy and cool, more than competition for ol' Bats. Cannot WAIT for Arkham City
Squirrel Girl is pure awesomeness incarnate in a single character.
Emma Rios is an up and coming artist with a great manga style art which I really dig
I prefer the more satirical Photon from Nextwave, she led the Avengers ya know ;)
Ah, how I miss the Teen Titans cartoon
I LOVE noir ladies in Domino masks...need I say more?
I know it's wrong to fancy a cartoon character...but DAMN she's hot
Cute blonde archer. How can you not love her when she's drawn by Todd Nauck and Humberto Ramos
Virtually unknown baddie with a tragic story
Basically a wannabee, hope she turns up in her cousins new ongoing
I'm a 90's child so Spiral has always been a villain I've grown accustomed to, she always pops up one time or another, part of her appeal is that she's still, really, a complete mystery
While they may have the odd male member, BOP is home to some of DC's finest heroines, most who are on this list! Any book that has all my favourite females on one team is always much appreciated!
Poor daughter of Scott Lang, Stature has been in comics a long time before she was a hero. I'm a sucka for a younger, female version of an exisiting hero, it's why I love Teen Titans and the Young Avengers so much! Stature is the heart of the team and always provides beautiful visuals and sweet moments with Vision, even if she is a bit whiny...
Where is she? Anybody remember Silver-Claw? I do and I think she should return to the fold a-stat!
Blast from my childhood :)
A fav in the sonic games for me, just love her and cheese!
Bad-ass sexy Spider Lady, but she's crazy so don't cross her
Gotta love a super-hero mum
Cosmic hussy basically?
Mysterious new foe of the BOP, ruthless and determined, she even proves a tough match for Dinah, her black counterpart
One of my favourite shows as a kid, I may have to pick the complete collection on the e of bay... The Charmed Ones are awesome, not many Witchy shows that could gain the popularity and length of this, making the careers of the main 3 ladies (let's not mention Shannon Doherty okay...) the show proved to be a great mix of reality and the super-natural introducing a vivid new world full of white lighters, demons and the power of three...
Kingdom Come baby of fav Starfire, just like her except...purple, and I really like purple
Evil version of Starfire basically...
90's tastic villainess who got a nice nod post-house of m, it's a shame she's no where to be seen nowadays
90's tastic girlfriend of X-Man, really hope she returns now that Nate is back, along with her....baby!?
Unknown Alpha Flight member who was sadly de-powered after M-Day, such a shame I theenk, no?
Oh. My. Goddess. Isis is back.
Big Poser and big bad of the Secret Invasion.
Not well known carrier of the 'yellowjacket' mantle, And in her own words, the worst bit about her death was that no one seemed to notice...
Manipulative foe and member of the X-Men. I fall in love with anybody Salvador Larroca, Chris Bachalo and Humberto Ramos draws, and she is luckily enough to have that honour.
I wonder when Cass will be restored to her former glory, theres two batmen, why not two batgirls?
Cool name, character and costume plus a ninja chick with a big sword. What else do ya want?
Love a villainess
Cooky character who needs some tlc from writers
Bout time there was a Cat-Girl
Sexy She-Devil from the Savage Land, wouldn't mind being lost in the jungle if she was about
The only lady for Hal in my eyes, always like it when a gf turns into an enemy
Beautiful little character
Absolute badass, anyone who reads Walking Dead will agree
:(
The Walking Dead is a great book that explores the changes in people when put under extreme pressures and changes, Andrea is a great example of how much a person can change. Andrea is a great and strong character of team grimes, and is one of the teams most valued members, being the best shot of the team, Andrea has had a lot taken from her
Need to see more of her, she's too damn interesting to fade away, screw mutant zero, bring back typhoid!
Why isn't she more famous!?
Please read this boo. it's dirty and hilarious and somehow even touching at the end?? The Pro is a one of a kind lady
I have on my shelf the Fathom definitive Michael Turner edition and it's beautiful. especially the main character Aspen, all thanks to the late great michael turner
Underexposed character who actually got rejected from the X-Men...their loss
Beautiful artist who draws beautiful women
An oft forgotten character that has recently been thrust back into the spotlight, and rightly so!
Woahh flshback, Talisman is awesome and powerful and criminally under used! Even the brief hype of Omega Flight hasn't stuck, Alpha Flight is back and she is no where to be seen!?? Some one re-unite her with Shaman pretty please?
Recently gotten into American Vampire and it's PHENOMENAL. Everyone needs to read it, it's something else, Pearl is the main character and she's brilliant. Especially in her uber-vampire mode, I reference to one seen where she literally rips another vamps face off... don't piss her off
While I'm not an avid follower of the Wildcats and Wildstorm titles in general, in the few I have read Voodoo's really stuck out for me, cool powers and an cool design and.... a stripper background... she's all kinds of awesome!
Recently Valeria had become so awesome, she has this air of mystery and cunning. She knows what shes doing and will do anything to protect her family, even if it means aligning with Doom or even killing...
Obscure character back from the Captain Britain days but Scatterbrain really stood out for me
Interesting and sexy character, who's father is the green lanterns greatest enemy, Sinesto. Even more interesting as she's a green lantern herself! Bringing her into conflict with he daddy on more than one occasion!
Recently got the first deluxe volume of Fables and it's awesome, can't believe I've let myself get so far behind! I'm about 90 issues, agigillion mini series and graphic novels and a spin off series behind!! Snow it's a central character and it's great to see such a diversion from the original Fable!
Pick up the Madame Mirage tpb! Awesome art, characters and story! And Harper's the brains behind it all
Don't look on her profile if you want to read the story and not be spoiled because the secrets behind Madame Mirage are both surprising and sad!
C-List characters ftw! I feel Thor Girl should be more involved in the actual Thor comics, but I'm glad she has a a place
Even though she's had little appearances, I'm sure she'll be back, and her ending to the quarantine arc was awesome
Sexy and dangerous Morrison villainess
"The only things she cares about are sex, money and violence" you want anything else?
Awesome Asgardian warrior, the only lady for Thor in my eyes
Love when she pops up and love how she isn't just utilized in the X books, plus her and Beasts is the strangest comic pairing I've ever seen
Any character portrayed by Eliza Dushku is fine in my book, it's just a plus that she plays a troubled, slayer
Cool concept and a cool character, loved her vampire tastic mini with awesome art by Joe Benitez, very sexy with a very impossible waist
Anya Christina Emmanuella Jenkins, one of the funniest characters written in TV history. One word...bunnies.
Please bring her back in Buffy Season 9!!
Cannot believe I've forgotten about Cecilia to now! She was on the X-Men in my prime time of reading comics in my youth and was always intriguing because she simply didn't want to be a mutant or X-Man! But I'm glad she's back in the fold and hope one day she can become a core team member again
Favourite character in the Guild
cutest thing ever to come from Gaiman's mind
I don't make it known, but I adore the secret six, and I adore the relationship between Scandal, and this red head fury. NOT to be trifled with.
Not heard of her? SHAME. ON. YOU. GO READ SECRET SIX. NOW! It's one of the best comic ongoings ever in my opening. CURSE YOU DC REVAMP! I hope Scandal has a place :(
A baby Psylocke? Count me in.
Awesome Morrisson invented characters, but unfortunately no writer seems to know what to do with them since the big M left, hopefully they'll find a voice, or three, in the future
Fact - I fall in love with any woman Silvestri draws
