To be honest, when I first opened up the comic and saw this new character I thought it was the black Ben Reilly that was introduced waaay back in the Ultimate Carnage days, but he looked like he was too skinny.  Then I saw online that his name was Miles Morales instead.  Oh well, should be interesting, eagerly awaiting the first issue.

I like this love triangle, it adds romantic tension and drama to a series that was already great due to the action and story.  Now with Remender's masterful writing, I hope this triangle entangles the characters and becomes more complicated due to the current arc.  I also want to see the effects of it have ramifications for later story arcs, that'd be cool.

Then he'll get another one.  Simple as that.  If it's a completely new one, or the same one somehow magically repaired, he'll have a shield somehow.  Learning how to use another weapon is too time-consuming these days...

But yeah, this series does look very pretty so far.  Let's hope the story holds up as well.  I'm interested to see the Justice League be viewed as outlaws (or working in the eyes of public and authoritative scrutiny) since they're not entirely trusted yet, or as they keep saying 'in the time before they were called the World's Greatest Superheroes.'  Looks promising.
