Yeah, this seems scary. I've had some pretty saucy wall posts from users who want me to do things for them but if I can't chose to hide them, people might think I moderate poorly when really I just can't control what gets posted on my wall (and just because I enjoy it doesn't mean I want everyone to else to see it!).

Just as an example though, seriously, over 80% of the wall posts I've gotten over the years have just been triggers for PM conversations and never get approved.

I know I'm going to get hate for this..but...

I'm not sure if you think you'll get hate because people don't like MCR but I think you deserve hate in not recognizing the original is ten times the song this could ever be

A little of both really. I know many don't like MCR, however I also know many hold Dylan in high regards. Personally I like MCR's version much more. I'm more of a rock oriented listener, I like something I can dance to, work out to etc, Dylan's version is too slow for me, but that's just my opinion.

This is a comic website, everyone should love MCR, I did...and still listen to Three Cheers every now and then. But Dylan's original is easily one of the greatest songs of all time, the cover kind of ruins everything that made the song great in the first place and it just becomes a generic tune. You're free to enjoy it though, there are some covers of Dylan's work I think are better than the originals (Ramblin' Jack Elliott's version of Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues for instance) but Desolation Row is just one of those songs I don't think can be added to with a cover. It's also one of the few songs where I don't like Dylan's updated versions of it (as he likes to switch up styles of his old songs a lot).

I find a lot of people seem to think Bob Dylan is boring though. You could always dance/work out to his more energetic songs.

Also, I should probably mention I just had this conversation with someone like a week ago when they saw my Desolation Row tattoo and asked if I liked the MCR song.

You now have to add it manually by searching it when you edit the list (I figured this out just moments ago when I signed in to edit my list).

Mine says I have 8000 more than I do, can I keep it even if you fix everyone else's? I like it.

It makes me feel better about not replying to the first 1000.

EDIT: Btw, I'm too lazy to make a thread or search if there is one but has nobody else noticed you can choose to have the "Bombcast" in your main boards feed.

@Squalleon: Honestly, you might as well start with #1, since it won't be continuing past February. Otherwise, why not start with Peter Milligan's run? He's the current and final writer for the series and started with 250, I believe.

This is pretty much the best answer (although his run technically began with #251, 250 was an anthology). They are making new trades and collecting issues that had previously never been collected and since the series has been cancelled, it's really the best time to catch up from the beginning. You'll get some bad issues (some even awful) here and there usually because of guest writers but for the most part, the series is good for all 25 years of its run. Everything in Milligan's run (#251-300) is amazing though.

@danhimself:

the things I want to say are inappropriate on this website but I think I might go spam my hate elsewhere and from now on I will try and have nothing but venom and vitriol for all things DC New 52, they crossed the line

Unfortunately love is too often a one-sided affair, your situation is one many people can relate to and unfortunately you are just going to have to try and move on as best you can. It's never easy but hopefully you'll become a better person for it.

She loved me a lot. She sacrificed a lot for me and shed loads of tears for me. We loved each other completely. But, I doubted her when she needed me the most. She begged me for hope and I couldn't give it to her. I made a big mistake, sir. I just want her to forgive me.

To reiterate the words of an earlier poster, I know that feel bro. I don't want to upset you and you are free to disagree but what I was trying to convey is the idea most people will tell you which is that if someone stops loving you, they never did. That doesn't mean what you shared wasn't real but it was something else. Love shouldn't have to forgive because there is no wrong to forgive, you know? Everyone moves on in a different way but you need to get it in your head that it's over and see where that puts you. If things work out after that and you do fall in love, that's great but you need to accept right now that taking care of yourself is your main priority.
