Superman is pretty hated mainly for stupid reasons like he's too strong or too perfect which I have to disagree. I mean he may be the strongest on Earth but in the entire DCU then he's not that strong. As for being too perfect then I have to say read For Tomorrow, he's not that perfect in that story. However I think Hal Jordan is more hated than Supes. Well on Comic Vine that is.
Yeah I'm kinda sick of Batman. Like most people have already said I like the character himself yet I don't think of him as a god or go off saying that he could win every battle with prep time. He's a man so he's bound to make mistakes and have some flaws and his fans just seem to ignore those flaws.
@johnny spam: Good point. I would like to see more Superman stories in which he does the impossible. I mean he's the Man of Steel and one of the strongest heroes on Earth so having do the near impossible would be interesting to read.
I've been reading a lot of haters argument about why they dislike Superman and one of the big reasons why is because he's to good. This ends up bringing up a question to my head which is, should writers make Superman into a darker character? I say no. He's suppose to be the symbol of hope, someone everyone should look up to and try to be like, not some evil douche bag who thinks he's a god and that he can do whatever the hell he wants.
I would rather have Martian to be in a suit and have some green make up on him instead of being CG. Unless if they do it like Dr. Manhattan in Watchmen.
