The most rediculous matchup was Aquaman vs Submariner as they were in the 1940's to the 1970's the Submariner would have easily beat him. Now they say Aquaman can beat Power Ring who is as powerful as Green Lantern, and swim faster than Clark (Superman of the Smallville tv show.)Of course Clark may have been trying to hide how fast he actually was, but it was to Chloe who already knew how fast he was.
Yeah, if he does it's because Marvel is inconsistant in their characters, though not nearly as inconsistant as DC. Wonder Woman was stunned by a single punch from Giganta the Gorilla Girl. Later they changed Giganta's origin no longer a Gorilla Girl. What version of the DC and Marvel Characters are fighting each other as they are inconsistant. In 1940 Superman vs the Submariner would have been a good matchup, but now they have made Superman so rediculously powerful. However he also has rediculous weaknesses to magic so a werewolf can beat him, he need help from Vigilante to beat a werewolf. I can't see a werewolf possing a threat to the Submariner.
Galactus is not an allpowerful being, he needed the help of Thor and the Fantastic four to beat Ego the living planet. Also he has attacked the Fantastic Four on several occasions and never destroyed them, even with the help of Terrax, Gabrielle, Fire Lord, etc. So he is far from infinite.
