First of, YES they got rid of the lethal force cause, which didn't seem to be followed anyway at the expense of Jack T chance.

What i'm going to say is there a few things. Ranx can't be destoryed because they moved to bring it back it later days as it well destory Oa when Sodom Yat gets a mohawk.

Secondly and I'm sure you old Gl fans well love this nerdiness, I don't beleive Amon Sur is Abin's Son. If you would recall Tales of the Green Lantern Corps he found a little boy in the empire of tears and took him in, some years later he died.

In Amon's retelling of his life he is about four or five when his father dies, easyly a few years after finding this boy and taking him in as his own.

I must agree with Metho's orginially it was simple, what the ring wielder thought up he could do. This was of course not true for things yellow in nature. The change from it being just imganation and into Will Power has come largely since the Rebirth of Hal Jordan, and the Corps in 05, with the revealation that yellow is the weakness due to fear, meaning that all those years, not one Gl could overcome fear and now, thousands have..so yeah you see the skeptism in my view.

I thought legion was a character put forward in the emerald dawn Series. Actually I know for a fact that he first appeared inthe Emerald Dawn Mini Series issue Two.

To be honest I hated it. The Green Lanterns have used there rings for leisure purposes before so I didn't understand why the guardians choose to snap at Hal. Secondly the Guardians have never been strong on enforcing the you have to be a good cop, Sinestro, Malevdo, and that weid fish guy all became tyrants and the guardians could not stop them.

To further add to my frustation the introduction of Parallax and Ion would permantly throw Gl Contiunity out of wack because to be quite Frank it makes little sense just as the end of the orginial issues left me thinking, WTF?

I don't know how or why Hal would cut through the mass people when he was faced with worse discussions before.

I hate Ron Marz to the bottom of my soul, espically due to the "Lethal Force" completely destorys the Gl corps, because after all what happens when they blow up those countless space ships?

Ron Marz was a disaster to the GL line and I thought the Emelard Twilight was a Traversy.

Well there is a few things. One the first time Hal entered the battery was in Issue 224 the last issue of his original run due to the Krougarian clause after they killed Sinestro in issue 221. The second time that he moved into the battery was before the second time in the orginial storyline with the Emelard Dawn mini series. The third time he entered was in Gl 50 when he became the scourge on the Gl history Parallax. these are the mentions and walks ins of the Green Lantern History I hope it helps.
