Thanks for adding a spoiler section, it seems focused on Top of the Pile books for the week. Nothing wrong with that and based on comments I'll give the current Green Lantern arc a try. Please consider adding an indie book or two into these discussions in future. There's really some great books beyond Marvel or DC and those are the titles that often get overlooked unless highlighted.

Arcadia #3

Detective Comics #42

Mortal Kombat X #8

X-Files Season 10 #25

Amazing Spider-Man #19.1

Darth Vader #7

Princess Leia #5 (Of 5)

Red Skull #1 (Of 3)

Secret Wars #4 (Of 8)

Bunker #12

An expensive week with a mix of Marvel, DC, Boom Studios, IDW and Oni Press. Really enjoying Arcadia so far and I'm a bit surprised it's not getting any publicity.

Damn, just looked it up and the last issue of X-files is going to be 8 bucks! I'm getting it, but c'mon.

Agreed, I thought $8 was a bit pricey myself.

Darth Vader is my favorite of the current Marvel Star Wars titles so far. Even so, the other series are quite good in their own right.

Talking in generalities about books to avoid revealing plot points or surprises is dull and uninteresting. I tune into the Comic Vine Weekly podcast to hear insightful thoughts on books. Pedestrian comments like "the artwork was good" or "it was well written" are not helpful as a comic book fan. I want to know why the artwork was good and what about a particular book is well written. Did something significant happen in a story arc? Was an under-the-radar title released that people should know about? Please consider adding more independent book discussion also!

I'm not completely sold on the Convergence premise but will try it out in small doses. Rebels might be interesting and I'll take a look at it before I decide. Here's what I plan to buy...

Deep State #5

Convergence #1 (Of 8)

Convergence Justice League #1 (Of 2)

Mortal Kombat X #5

Birthright #6

Darth Vader #4

Looking forward to Spectre and have enjoyed previous Bond films though some are clearly better than others. Does the photograph scene make it possible the new villain is related to Bond or simply that they knew each other growing up? Looks interesting nonetheless and I will definitely watch it.

TIE Fighter was and remains one of my all-time favorite PC games and I was an avid member of Emperorshammer.org for many years as a result of it. I began playing X-Wing Miniatures in large part now because of the fond memories I had of that game. So this was truly a treat to watch, thanks Mat.

I bought the game a couple of weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised. Having never read Fables before I had no real bias or expectations. If this preview is intriguing, you have the option of buying it in graphic or video game format. For $20 I found the experience in video game format to be well worth the price.
