Asgardians being denser is also in the marvel wiki
Oh, the earth is a sphere???? I'm actually posting from a medieval computer, so I didn't know this
 also, I've included my original calculations
@AsgardianXeno929
: you may find this interesting also   Oh, both of you, go check my fight analysis earlier on this page, I go more into detail about their strength levels. Superman can pull the earth, thor can lift the midgard serpent. So i crunched the numbers.   CALCULATIONS START HERE use earth's radius as r (lowercase) earth's mass: 4/3 Pi r^3 or 4.188r^3 serpents mass (more complicated)  the serpent is stated to have wrapped around the earth multiple times. this could be anywhere from 1.5 to 4 times.  so the formula for a cylinder (basic shape of serpent) is pi r^2 times the length of the cylinder the serpent is probably anywhere from one quarter to one sixteenth the width of the earth, making it's radius (R) one third or less  that of earth's (r). so the mass really comes down to how long the serpent is and how wide it is. I will estimate that it is about one fifth as wide as the earth, and wraps 3 times around, based on the picture here, and the one located above. http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e101/Soujaboy/Thor%20Feats/midgardserpent1.jpg   the length of the serpent would be the circumference of the earth (2pi r) BUT you also have to include the width of the serpent, as its center actually is a bit off of the earth. this would make its radius one fifth of earths radius (.2r)so the formula would be (.2r)^2      x       2 pi  x (1.1r)       x 3                            cross sectional area                                                       length of serpent (2pi x r,   r in this case is the radius of the earth,   plus the radius of the serpent  number of times the serpent wraps around the planet this comes down to .829 r^3, or about 4.5 times less than the mass of earth. BUT. the midgard serpent most likely is at least twice as dense as the earth, as it is a supernatural being, making it much denser than the core of the earth.
I love your calculations, great job!
@Erik: I cannot remember the one from the store, i think it was called encyclopedia mythologica and I'll ask my friend what his was called.

@demifiend: Saying that Thor not using any powers against hulk is an excuse is like saying superman doesn't use powers as Clark Kent because of his secret identity is an excuse. Also, The writer of the specific comic I was talking about said that if it wasn't a Hulk one-shot that he would continue the fight and Thor would beat up Hulk like he already was until hulk ran.

hulk has the power to kick thor ass every time he face him.
Nope. Thor never tries to defeat him, just stop him (every time), Hulk on the other hand is always trying to defeat/ kill Thor. if Thor tried to fight hulk using his speed and other powers Hulk wouldnt stand a chance, but Thor always goes to hulks level and keeps matching him. Also, Rulk beat the crap out of regular hulk while Thor almost killed Rulk but rulk was saved by hulk telling thor to stop.

@Erik:
Excerpt from an interview with the writer.

Snider: No! It has NEVER happened to him before. He has never even considered that it could! And at the time it happens he has the UPPER HAND in the fight! Hulk is down and bleeding and he goes to finish him off and Hulk CATCHES HIS HAND! He is stunned for a second and Hulk takes advantage of that and bashes him in the face a few times. And then RUNS AWAY!
Snider: Look the bottom line is THIS is a HULK ONE-SHOT! Which means HULK WINS.
Snider: Ha! Nothing! I really LOVE THOR and if Marvel gives me the chance I'd be happy to write a REMATCH called "THOR: LET ME SEE YOU TRY THAT AGAIN!" where HULK tries to catch Thor's hand and he shows Hulk why that is a terrible idea! =)

 Even though it was cannon, Thor was kicking his a** until hulk did something no one ever did to Thor. Snider even said that if it wasn't a one-shot Thor would've got back up and kick his a**.

@CapitolPunishment: pretty much what you said in that entire post, and since RKT has omniscience (not sure if full or just a degree of it) but it'll tell him NOT to fight physically if he likes being alive, lol.

The tiring thing would go to Thor because he fought Zeus for 9 months while hulk couldn't even get close to that long. Also, Hulk is pretty durable but owes it all to his healing. BUT, although Thor does have a degree of invulnerability, the Marvel Hand book states that Thor can heal back limbs and most major organs.
