It was bound to happen.  Not that its a bad thing at all.  But when Spider-Man 1 came out in theaters there were tons of Spider-Man books out, and most had Norman as the bad guy.  When X-Men came out same thing, when Octavius was the bad guy in SpiderMan2 he was in the comics.  When Venom was in the movie Peter put back on the black costume.  The comics try to promote the movie, and since Thor is on its way out he will be a bigger player in the Marvel universe.

Still, not a bad thing.  Especially if you like Thor.
Love the character studies posted above.

I haven't read it or seen it, so maybe I am not giving it a chance at all, but it just seems funny to me that she is this normal high school girl who finds out this boy she likes is a vampire.  Then this other boy she likes turns out to be a werewolf.

I think that the main story will feature some of them like Blackest Night did, while the other characters will have their story play out in their new books, like Hawk and Dove in Birds of Pray.  The main story about Dead Man, the White Lanterns, and why they returned, will play out in Brightest Day and maybe Green lantern.

Didn't Aquaman die like 3 other times?  Didn't he die in some major crisis a while back and then return?
Because I thought he did and reading it I was thinking How is he having trouble getting adjusted to coming back to life, even the idea of it, because he has in the past.
Actually, for that matter, Blackest Night showed how often characters die and have returned.  So its not such an out there concept for the DCU right?

I loved the art on the Hawk and Dove scene, it was cool.

When I was reading the Jade page, and she was talking about having no place to go I was thinking, she just came back from the dead, maybe she should live with her father and brother for a while.  Not an exciting comic but Alan Scott, Jade and Obsidian, just living together and spending quality time together would be realistic and touching.  Maybe when they show her character she is back with them living at home like normal, and what gets her out of the house and back into action is whatever Brightest Day is about.

Boo!  Will they at least air the unaired Spectacular Spider-Man cartoons?
I think they already have finished Season 3.  I am upset, but I will give the Ultimate cartoon a chance.
Maybe they should have Spectacular Spider-Man air in Saturday mornings, and Ultimate Spider-man air Saturday evenings.  That way you can have both and make one more grown up since it is Ultimate.

So he si still wearing the white ring.  Does that mean anyone brought back with a white ring can never take it off?  If they take it off will they suddenly die?  And if someone puts the ring back on that person will they return to life?  And if the ring is put on someone else will that person come back?
If Booster takes a white ring and puts it on Blue Beetle will he return to life now?

Not sure if he would be better, but he seems like a better choice than Zac Effron.  He sort of looks like Peter too.
I am a little upset that they might have canceled Spectacular Spider-man cartoon for a new Ultimate Spider-man cartoon show on the same XD network just because the new movie is based on the Ultimate comics.

the Three the leap out at me the most are "The Bad Guys", "The Golden Shield", and the ones with the super toys attacking mummy hands.
Can't wait to see what happens.

Kirby is so awesome that I can't understand why most of his ideas haven't been tapped by Hollywood.
Kirby's Silver Star was written to be a movie, he later revised it into a comic, but it would work better now than back then.
