Artemis,Goddess of the Hunt!

Appearance:

Beautiful,youthful.

Green hair and Eyes,white.but can change her skin,eye,and hair colors to some degree.

Her voice is bright and sounds much like a canary singing.

She is well built and muscular,but still feminine.

She has the ability to grow claws to some degree,but not commonly.

Personal Info:

Age-Since the first tree grew and the first stag pranced.
Family-Zeus(Father),Athena(Mother),Apollo(Twin-Brother),and several other siblings.

Skills:

She is skilled with many different weapons.

She is a fairly good hand-to-hand fighter.

She is well known for her hunting and/or survival techniques.

Powers:

She can gain the ability's any animal at will(Think Vixen from DC comics).

When her blood lands on soil,it grows into a beautiful plant.If someone was to be patient enough to water and keep this plant safe for fifty years,it would grow a single fruit which grants any mortal eater 150 extra years of life.

She can communicate with animals easily.

Her five senses are far better than that of a average human.

She is physically superior to humans,though not by a great degree.

Weapons/Items:

She has,in her possession, a whip that can grow sharp,poisonous thorns if she utters the words "fertile" or "growth".

She has a hunting knife that can change to the size of a longsword or to the size of a needle,and also change shape(Ex.it can become serrated) at her own will.

She has a whistle that can cause herds of bison to stampede,lions to roar,and whales to dive deep into the ocean,but only by her breath.

She carries a seemingly average sack of fruit,but the fruit in this bag is semi-limitless,as long as she is the one reaching into it.

She has a bow that can shoot arrows across an ocean,if she desires that of course.The arrows for this bow have been gifted special properties by her twin-brother,Apollo.Now they can burst into flame at Artemis's thought,even while in midair.

Pets:

The Bull of Crete-A huge,powerful bull that can breath fire and was able to hold it's own while in a grapple with Hercules.It's horns and hooves were as black as Ashes and hide as red as blood spilled in battle.

The Stymphalian Birds-Huge,flesh eating birds that could carry off full-grown men.Their feathers were either orange,red,brown,or yellow,the colors of autumn and spring.

The Nemean Lion-This lion was larger than a full grown bull,powerful enough to wrestle with Hercules,and had the strange ability to be immune to any weapon,no matter who made it,but it could be harmed by physical assault if someone was strong enough to do so.

The Cerynean Hind-This magnificent beast was an enormous and powerful deer.It's hooves were made of bronze and it's antlers made of gold.It can run faster than any normal man continuously for an entire year without rest.This serves as Artemis's personal steed.

The Hydra-This wicked beast was known for it's nine fearsome heads,which,when sliced off without burning the wound,would spawn two more in it's place.It was a huge,blue serpent with,as said,nine heads.It's fangs are poisonous and one of it's heads are indestructible and more powerful than the others.Artemis uses this beast only in much-needed situations,but more commonly keeps it deep underground.

Cerberus-This demonic hound guarded the path between Earth and the Underworld.It took the form of a gigantic hound with three heads and a large snake for a tale.It's blood grew a poisonous plant when shed on fertile soil.She can only use this beast with the permission of Hades,lord of the Underworld.

The Chimera-Sibling of Cerberus and the Hydra,it has a lions body,a snake for a tail,and a goats head in the middle of it's back,which could breath fire.The beast was powerful and had a nearly impenetrable hide.It can only be found near volcanic regions.

History:

Artemis is the Goddess of all animals and forests.She spends her time trying to keep animals from being meaninglessly killed and forests from being demolished.She has recently taken interest in Earth,considering the destruction not only affects the human populace,but also the forests and beast which reside in the surrounding area.She has asked for her father,the skyfather Zeus,to allow her access to the world so she may help for the good and fight for rights.He granted her the access she begged for and sent her to the precious planet.She now is willing to do anything to assure the safety and preservation of all life.
