yes.
@FadeToBlackBolt: eh it's a cool thing to be empowered with but it basically makes you the b***ch of a vindictive, conniving, jerkass entity that can take your will away at any time, no thanls

Honestly, I'm ok with that lol. It's just such a badass vindictive, conniving, jerkass entity :P

Not really since it's already been posted multiple times, and also I'm not a complete fanboy so I know as powerful as it it there are many wepons in comics superior to it.
" Haha, ok. I'm still waiting on my damn Red Lantern Ring. "
lantern rings Pffft, such silly child's toys... "
:O You wont be saying that after I vomit acidic blood all over your precious Witchblade :P "
The Witchblade is indestructible kid and it can tear out souls and a lot more. Plus, vomit, I mean really? You want a goofy ring that allows you to vomit acidic blood overr any number of various artifacts and tools that can do much cooler stuff like take the form of an elder Jotun, really?

I'm not too fond of the regurgitation stuff, but the Rage angle suits me, so I'll take it. Isn't the WB exclusive to women though? My knowledge is limited since I haven't got the Compendium yet (getting it Oct 2).

Normally yes, but there are magical spells that can subvert this, it's happened more then once. The Witchblade has a will and sentience of it's own, but that doesn't matter if you have the magical mojo to shut it up and the will to control it. Baring the Witchblade, I'll take the amber stone or the glacier stone.

What are they? (the stones I mean). I remember Irons taking control of it in WB #8 (I've only read the first nine issues so far), but didn't it basically just tell him to **** off, and then returned to Sara?
They are two more of the 13 artifacts of the Top Cow universe. The Amber stone has purview over fire, heat, creation, guardianship while the Glacier stone has purview over ice, cold, destruction.

Kenneth Irons did subvert the witchblade only for a very short time in Witchblade #8 but it's also shown later that he may have actually wielded it in the past. Ian Nothingham has also succeed temporarily to wield it with a lot of power (thought it drove him crazy eventually till he had to have it taken away). He also wielded Excalibur (which in Top cow is a shard of the witchblade) and that he did very well for a long time, until Sarah was forced to defeat him and Excalibur was reabsorbed into the Witchblade.
Anyway if I was going to get the Witchblade, I'd take some magic lessons, lots of them before trying. But the point is it can be done with magic.
