I have no real idea why we're acting like Karma somehow solos the team. Sure she can control someone here but if she's not protected then she's gonna get wrecked anyway.

Team is used to protecting and compensating for Karma, but sure she could viably be taken out with a lucky shot or coordinated effort (while Sunspot and Magma are raining down hell)

The main issue is that the New Mutants team don't really have any firepower, so if they get into a physical fight they aren't going to do a whole lot, nor do they have any actual way of protecting their valuable members here.

Hawkeye, Tigra, and Moonknight don't have the energy durability to survive either Sunspot or Magma, forget both at the same time.

That is half of the WCA's team that can get cooked in a few moments.

It's worse with bloodlust because then guys like War Machine can just go in guns blazing.

Cannonball, Magma and Sunspot are essentially bulletproof when their powers are on. I think Cannonball and Sunspot are probably low-bullet proof but Magma is definitely high bulletproof. A bloodlusted Warmachine isn't an issue.

And this is all without mentioning Magik who at peak is a nightmare for the West Coast Avengers

Only problem I see is R3 - Pym with prep but I think Magik could counter that to be honest

Never dominant? He was a pro bowler and heisman trophy winner.

Bo Jackson, like Jim Thorpe, has almost folk hero level status of accolades when it comes to his career and the stories about what they could achieve with the human body.

Unlike Thorpe, Bo Jackson did it in two sports after recovering from a hip replacement.

In my opinion, he is the single greatest "athlete" of all time purely for being a record setting force of nature in two different sports.

I don't think he is the goat in any of his sports, just that he could be placed in any sport in his peak and reach elite status.

I couldn't say the same about MJ (and his record for MLB) or Tom Brady (and his general below average "professional" athletics)

By my definition, few athletes could compete with the resume Bo Jackson has.
