Archangel is capable of flying at great speeds, and for great durations and distances. He can reach top speeds of over 100 mph. His wings are extremely durable, and like a large bird they are extremely powerful. His bones are hollow to assist his ability to fly. He has an accelerated metabolism and has nearly no body fat. He is able to carry up to 200 pounds in flight. Archangel also has enhanced eyesight. He has the ability to heal fatal injuries by mixing his blood with those he is trying to heal provided they have a compatible blood type. He has spent countless hours training with the X-Men in hand-to-hand and aerial combat.

With Apocalypse's modifications, he was given razor sharp metal wings which could be retracted mechanically. With these wings he could also shoot razor-sharp, poison tipped feathers. As a side effect of his modifications, Warren's skin was also turned a light shade of blue.
