Powers: Sam is a mutant born with the ability to make exact duplicates of herself. The exact number of duplicates that she can create is unknown limit. Each duplicate has it's very own thought process, and can make decisions on it's own. Sam is able to "recall" her duplicates back to her from any distance or location, and when she does she gains all of it's memories and skills it developed while on it's own. If a duplicate dies, it is returned to Sam's body and she gains it's memories up to it's death.
A side effect to her making duplicates, is that randomly a duplicate may develop it's own unique superpower. Sam has estimated that about one in twenty duplicates will develop a superpower. Sam has no control over what superpower the duplicate will gain. These superpowers can really be anything from super strength to telepathy. They can also be odd abilities like having gills or blue skin.
Sam and all her duplicates share a telepathic link so that they can keep in contact at all times. There doesn't appear to be a limit to the range of this abilities since she has kept in contact with duplicates on the opposite side of the planet. While Sam is alone, her mind is vulnerable to telepathic attacks. As she makes duplicates, her own telepathic link grants her a resistance to telepaths. The more duplicates she has, the stronger her resistance is.
