@Catsnlynne: I'm right there with ya.

The saddest part of the New 52 Hawkman series is that it really didn't get good until the Liefeld team came on board, but because it was Liefelds name attached I couldn't get people I knew to pick it up.

Having Liefeld do the cover art was probably even worse than attaching his name to the series.

A few good things came out of this series: the return of Katar Hol, and the re-invention of the Thanagarians as a race that once possessed wings.

It just makes so much more sense out of the Thanagarians using wings rather than more sleek anti-gravity devices.

I also love that Hawkmans Nth metal and wings are a part of him again as it was the best part about the last version of Katar we had.

I also love that with Katar back Carter Hall can be re-introduced over in the Earth-2 book, and minus all that messed up continuity!

Although it is sad that Hawkman was supposed to have had a superhero career before this series began and yet there has been no reference to it what so ever...

The last Martian Manhunter mini-eries with his super funky head shape and full body outfit was so-so.

The Martian Manhunter series that spun out of the JLA series by John Ostrander and Tom Mandrake was outstanding, and well worth your time.

Thanks for watching!

I was extremely hesitant at 1st towards the Marvel AR app and infinite comics, but Marvels Infinite comics won me over the second I tried them out, and the Marvel AR app has become something I quite enjoy as well now.

In many many cases Marvel AR just offers stupid silly videos created by editors who thing having a camera should be enough reason to make a video, but in a lot of other cases you have great discussions from creators and some wonderfully creative videos.

I also initially hated the idea of digital comics, but then along came tablets.

I do of course buy the majority of my comics in collected edition now a days, and much prefer the physical copy over the digital.

But if I can't make it to the comic store on any given Wednesday, its great to be able to buy a comic I'm biting at the chomp to read.

did he or did he not use electro shock devices, and explosives?

That was my point, that he has on him devices that could easily harm Reed.

Comparing Reeds power level to an Amazo's just kinda silly man, the point was if his devices can hurt an Amazo they can hurt Reed,

And just for the record, I hated how easily Thanos went down.

Its one of my only grips with Keith Giffen stories characters suddenly all become very 'normal' and act far more likle us frail real world people.

Unfortunately its part of cannon now, and gives the "Superman camp" the easy win.

"Hey Thanos look over there"

:)

Why is the Champion now supposedly stronger than Superman?

Thats a pretty unfounded assertion!

Supes would smoke the Champion easy as pie.

Really, i mean if She-hulk can take him, Supes would give him a new career as a cupcake."

Champion is infinitely strong supes is not. "

Well you see theres the rub now innit?

You need a hell of a lot more than mere stregnth to beat Superman.

Again, and pay attention this time here, She-hulk beat the Champion.

If She-Hulk can beat Champion, Superman visits him at the old folks home and changes his depends.

"

That is the worst case of bad writing in the history of bad writing. The Flying Spaghetti Monster damns you to hell

"

heh, I like the spagetti monster!

It was actually a great read IMO.

The latest incarnation of the She-Hulk was a remarkably entertaining read month in and month out.

Champion was a badass no doubt, but he was recently squished under a rock by Titania.

For that matter lets take a look at his first appearance against the Thing in the Marvel 2 in one annual, He hit the Thing how many times?

Supes and even the Hulk for that matter have put down the Thing with less Hits.

The Champion just doesn't stack up.

Heck the Surfer took him out with an almost effortless ease.
