Looking at some earlier comments in here, it is the not the first time that rule has been broken, pretty sure it is more of a suggestion at this point.

They stick together. You do the math.

My comment was directed at the Vine as a whole and not any specfic writer or clique, IMO the constant circle-jerk extends beyond such groups anyways. That is an entirely different discussion but related in a very loose way in a sense.

Yet the vine consist of them. From veterans to newer writers. Experience viners will praise other experience viners which is not the case for newer vine members. OR at least this is what I see.

But then again one will always want some sort of reward or gratification on their writing even if they don't ask for it or not. It helps boost some personal esteem in their writing skills.

I do not necessarily disagree with your points, but to elaborate on my end would require getting specific and in a sense "calling people out" which I choose to avoid. My statement was simpy a general observation, at this point I am well convinced even disussing the issue at length would produce nothing of value. People have been defending broken systems for at least as long as I have been around, old bad habits are simpy ingrained at this point.

Oh, well I wasn't implying you were lol. Its just what I've seen and read on here. But then again that is how the real life social dynamic works as well. If you want to stand out you put yourself out there, for better or for worse.
