Okay, about the Hindu gods, Kali is a Hindu god and you were talking about her wielding Shiva's weapon. And the Apollo thing? I wasn't talking to you, it just happened to come into my 'rant'.

Poseidon WOULD put up a good fight if it's the comic versions of these gods, however you're right in saying Zeus would destroy him in mythology, but i still don't agree with you saying he is omnipotent even in mythology. In the quote the you posted, it said that Typhon ripped Zeus's sinews off or whatever. The word 'Omnipotent' means unlimited power, and if he had that, Typhon wouldn't last a second in a fight with him, much less rip his sickle from his hand.

@ShootingNova: if we are including Hindu gods in this then there is no point. vishnu would destroy everyone and everything because of his unstoppable weapon. and Shiva's name in hindu mythology is 'the destroyer' so i don't think it would be fair to include their pantheon in this battle. as for what you said about Zeus vs Poseidon; Zeus is not omnipotent, nowhere near it in fact. he is said to be equal to odin who was shown to be much weaker than the celestials even with the destroyer armour. also, all of the children of rhea together were needed to overthrow cronus because he was an older immortal. such as Gaia and uranus are stronger than the titans, who in turn are stronger than the gods. and the bit you said about zeus being stronger then all of olympus put together? that was not solid feats, he was just bragging. did he actually do those things? i think not. Zeus could blast as many lightning bolts as he wants, but the fact of the matter is that Poseidon has complete dominion over the sea, it would not hurt him if he is in the sea. And how would Zeus beat Poseidon then? i'm telling you, it's a toss up. with zeus winning 6/10 times. And apollo is not in the running for this. it's between the three sons of cronus to see who is the strongest god in the greek pantheon: Zeus, Poseidon and Hades.

i'd say poseidon and zeus are nearly equal. in a fight, zeus would maybe win 6/10 times and he would be on the brink of death itself. as for other pantheons, i think that the only other gods who stand a chance are odin and Ra. odin would probably get out first since he is really old and norse gods aren't immortal. then it's a toss up between Ra, Poseidon and Zeus
