Namor - Atlanean & Mutant?

Maybe this question has already been answered, but I'll ask it anyway
As we all know that Namor is Atlanean, but he is also known as Marvel's first mutant. Ummm....How can he be both?

H.A.M.M.E.R?

If S.H.I.E.L.D is an acronym for Supreme Headquarters, International Espionage, Law-Enforcement Division or Strategic Hazard Intervention, Espionage Logistics Directorate or Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division and A.R.M.O.R stands for Altered-Reality Monitoring and Operational Response and S.W.O.R.D. is (Sentient World Observation and Response Department). Can anyone tell me what H.A.M.M.E.R stands for?

Venom

I have always been a fan of Venom, especially the Eddie Brock version. Now I might be out of the loop a little since I really haven't read a comic in about ten years, but the idea of Mac Gargan as Venom, I'm sorry I just don't buy it. In my eyes, Venom will always be Eddie and Mac will always be, well.....Mac (yes, I know he was the Scorpion, but the the Scorpion sucked ass). You just can't replace the original. Now that is out of the way, I will give Marvel some credit in attempts in selling Mac Gargan as Venom. Basically giving him an eating machine persona with no conscience. Nice, but I prefer Eddie. Marvel has since introduced THE ANTI-VENOM character basically the complete opposite version of Venom, I believe that this was done basically just to keep the character Eddie Brock alive since he was suffering from cancer. Besides the reason I just gave this was also to further build the Mac Gargan/Venom character that nobody ws buying anyway. This was a interesting marketing ploy by introducing an even weaker character to make the original weak character stronger. With the events of Dark Reign and the rise the out of control freak, Norman Osbourne giving Venom "meds" to keep the monster at bay and reducing him into a more human form rather than the monsterous venom-like creature that we are all used to seeing. During their recent events in the Dark Avengers, it has been shown that Venom (Mac Gargan) have been heavily affected by their medication, making him Venom soft and Mac more unsure of himself. Does this look like the end of the Mac Gargan/Venom???? Maybe. But this is Marvel and they always have some sort of surprises in store for their fans.
Now the big reason why I am posting this blog is the annoucment of 2010 is the year of Spider-man. What does this mean? It looks like from the puzzle teaser that Peter and M.J. are going to reunite and therefore reverse the deal with the devil that split them up to save Aunt May, why? I have know idea, what is she a hundred years old and besides Peter is married and all grown up. I think Marvel has separation anxiety with Aunt May but they will kill off Captain America in a blink of an eye. But I am getting off track, Marvel annouces that this is the year of Spider-man, but my question is what about everyone affected in Spider-man's life? I am not talking about family and friends, but what about his huge villain gallery? Who is looking out for the evils that really make Spider-man into the hero he is today? Just something to think about when this new event comes out.
