I can't quite remember the details, but when Superman found the ship that had been stuck in the ice, was there a stasis pod that was left opened without a body? That was Supergirl's introduction right? I can see Lex spanning two films, either plotting in the first and then attack in the second, or attack in the first and need to team up with Superman to fight a bigger foe. Also the phantom zone is usually not as secure as it's meant to be and Faora-Ul kicked ass so I expect a retaliation at some point.
@violetphoenix: I agree, and we all know the man who will be asking the questions. The huge destruction at the end bring Lex's views into reality. Plus, isn't it just Batman with the no kill rule and Superman is more don't kill the humans rule? Also if I had the mind**** problem of fighting against the last of my species over my adopted planet, I don't think I'd be thinking further than that to be honest.
Brett Booth's Doomsday is amazing, is the New 52 version now? Always love Denis Medri's work too, I like seeing characters portrayed in different periods of time.
Now that War-Machine resembles the Iron Patriot and has the same design as Captain America, could it be possible that Avengers 2 could have elements of the Civil War arc in it?
Maybe the American flag design in some of the heroes'/or future heroes' costumes could represent a patriotic team that's controlled by the government while the other Avengers either go solo or form a separate team of their own. Resulting in conflict between Earth's Mightiest Heroes while an intergalactic threat approaches them.
Am I reading too much into War Machine getting a paint job?
