The car slammed against the wall as he turned down a narrow ally, the rear-view mirrors launching off as they made contact with the walls on either side of the car. The SUV too bulky comes to a screeching hault and tries finding another way into the ally, the distant sound of squeeling tires is all Alex hears as he turns and looks to Sari who is still glaring menacingly at him with her beautiful green eyes.
She wanted to know what was going on and she wanted to know now, the truth was always something that came difficultly to Alex and he hated to tell the truth it felt bitter in his mouth when he spoke it. Lying was always so much easier, but she would be able to tell if he was telling the truth or not she always can even in the short amount of time they have known each other. He only got away with keeping this secret for so long because she never asked and it was never on his mind...until now. His eyes fell to the gear shift as he turned to talk to her ashamed of what he was going to tell her, the taste of the bitterness was already filling his mouth. Taking her hand he finally spoke "I was suppose to kill you?" he smiled...then a hand came to the side of his head an slammed it into the steering wheel "You ass@#$#!!" she would have continued if he hadnt grabbed her hand an looked into her eyes "Alright stop that...it hurts like hell. Let me finish..." holding his head he shakes it his cheek beginning to bruise up. "Remember when I told you I was on an errand? Well you were that errand, I was ordered to find you and dispose of you. For some reason they dont like our kind much if they didnt create them, and you were the top of their list." He looked away from her and continued talking "But when I saw you in the garden....I couldnt pull the trigger. You...you were the same as the little one back during the program. Beautiful yet different alien if you will, she was something else her body was alien but her sole was mother russia. You reminded me of her, so when they contacted me after you left I told them you and the rest of the school had long been dead." Then he looked up through the moon roof and suddenly something landed on the roof, he opened the moon roof and saw it...a grenade.
"DOWN!" He grabbed Sari touching the car and the door stretched out covering over top of them as the explosion rocked through the car. "Take them both out the instructor orders to bring back a finger of both." Alex looks up through the space that now remains of his roof "Here have this." flipping the men off and forming a gun into his palm and firing hitting all that were standing on the building above them. With a thud one fell onto the car and Alex put the car into reverse and spun out of the ally and took off down the street. Shortly followed by more SUVs and then a mustang, the mustang closed the distance quickly and one of the men stood up "Alex...who thought it would be you to go for the trim and leave us." One of the men knew Alex and he charged his palm and fired a bolt of energy at the back of the car blowing out the back tires. The car flips and topples over itself with a loud thud and finally skidding to a stop.
Inside the car Alex holds his hands up forming a metal dome "Alright Sari, be angry at me but be angry at me later. Im going to bring this dome down, and then we gotta book it. The one thing they cant do is fly, so your going to have to take us out of here." she looked at him oddly and he gestured to his leg it had a piece of plastic straight through it. He couldnt pull it out, it was deep in his leg "The pain would prove a little too much for my concentration alright so be a sweetheart and get us the hell out of here alright? A motel or something Ill explain the rest later." He touches her leg "I promise ill tell you everything." He looked forward and let the metal shield come down and he brought up a shield of energy as the gunfire erupted as soon as the metal came down, he returned fire with his own metal guns.
