It's funny, I was looking through Amazing Spider-man 300 last night. Really fun to read. I had just met Todd McFarlane himself recently when I bought it as a back issue. Happy Days. I was thinking 'why didn't they do a variant homage to this 300 cover'.Here you go.
I have that House of M variant, btw. It had different colors. That looks like a fan-job. Battlechasers? Man, what a book. Look at the Hobbit coming out, you think Hollywood would finally make the thing. maybe give Joe Mad a nudge to finish it. Yeah, I bought Ultimates 3, too. Hey, atleast it looked cool.
I always wanted to read the Claremont/Miller Wolverine story. Never got around to it. I hope it's good and the name 'James' is never mentioned anywhere. :)
That's like a terrible way to do it, too. Really week. No big revelation, either. They couldn't come up with something better than that? Then there's the origin himself. What was the point of making sure people knew he had parents? We already assumed that. Ofcourse he did.
I can still read Wolverine stuff, but not Spider-man. After that Unmasking and OMD stuff, it ruined the character for me. He doesn't seem like a hero at all anymore. Pretty sad, reallly. They really DID ruin Spider-man for some of us. Man, that was the worst stuff I'd ever seen.
