Jedi/Sith

Which one would you be, Morals aside, purely based on observations on power or challenges to overcome on both sides.

I like to think I would have the willpower to stay a Jedi but in the end the power of the Dark Side is too much!

The fate of the Force determines that life for a Sith will never end triumphantly

I would like to think that I would be a Jedi.

Sith

I would become the most powerful Sith the galaxy had ever seen.

And you would suffer the worst fate of any Sith.

Sith. They always seemed more badass.

Jedi. Sith have a tendency to die

Well, Jedi do too. Unless you mean recorded deaths, but there's still a few Sith whose deaths are not known or recorded.

Posted by GodOfMischief

Well I'd probaly be a Jedi, but there are a lot of people who I'd be tempted to Force Choke lol.

True, I was talking in terms of the whole religion so die was probably the wrong choice of word.

What if I discovered the secret to immortality? Or wouldn't that help my case?

Pretty sure i'd be a jedi.

The Dark Side is very tempting, but I would rather remain on the path of a Jedi.

Sith, most of the jedi seem like fodder to me.

A lot of Sith believed they had immortality, and were almost close or even successful: Sion, Sidious, Simi, possibly Nihilus, Krayt, Vitiate, Adas amongst others, but they were all defeated in some way. Being immortal does not make you invincible.

Right. If so, then the entire "Order of Sith" have died before as well. But there's always survivors.

True. Plagius could also prevent other from dying.

due to rule of 2 proportionally there are fewer sith that are used as fodder than jedi..

Posted by ShootingNova

@The_Thunderer: And the Rule of Two only lasted (in fact less than) a millennium. Other rules and empires were established and were much longer-lasting. The Order of the Sith Lords (or the Banite Sith) simply housed some of the most powerful Sith Lords.

@mrdecepticonleader: That's true.

I like force drain, force kill, and most of all force crush.

However, Jedi have better influence, better persuasion, and people follow them. Sith tend to be more alone, and can't rely on anyone else.

I like force wave, destroy droid, and that more powerful mind trick that crushes a person's will to fight or something.

So I'd probably be a Jedi just because I'd have a ton of other Jedi and other allies to crush my enemies, and not have to rely just on my own awesome power.

Not necessarily true. Every single Sith known has presumably died. As for the Jedi. Not all deaths were recorded, but we can assume. Also, the Sith only lost fewer numbers when they turned into the Order of the Sith Lords, following the Rule of Two. Even so, every Sith Lord in said Order of the Sith Lords perished also.

What you should consider is the victories the Jedi have had against the Sith, in many wars. The Great Hyperspace War, the Great Sith War (Exar Kun War), the Jedi Civil War, the First Jedi Purge, possibly the Second Great Galactic War, the New Sith Wars, the Galactic Civil War, the Second Galactic Civil War, (there's more, and it continues all the way to the Second Imperial Civil War) were all victories for the Jedi.

Jedi

Though I would have one specific breaking point. Of which I would then fall to the dark side and never be able to return from.

I'd like to say I'd be a Jedi. But I'd probably end up being a Gray Jedi. Imperial Knight doesn't sound so bad...
