Does anyone know what book Magik's currently in? I read the Extraordinary just for her, but it seems like she fell off the grid once the Inhumans vs. X-men event.
I'd support them politically (basic human/citizen rights), but I would still feel uneasy around most of them. As scary as it sounds, we may even have to start a national registry since it's dangerous to have telepaths, teleporters, telekinetics, etc. walking around unchecked. I wouldn't care being neighbors with someone witha mutation like Colossous, Beast, or Glob. I'd be scared of living next to mutants Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, or Cyclops. The 3 I just mentioned are some of the nicest and most professional mutants you'll meet, but their power sets scare me as a home owner.
Trying to incorporate game mechanics into a battle-scenario is kinda hard since they're confusing sometimes. Genji can magically deflect every projectile (sound waves, missiles, explosive energy charges, bullets, arrows, fire strikes) within a 2 second window but he can't somehow deflect melee attacks (Reinhardt's hammer or any of Doomfist's attacks) or channeled beam attacks (Zarya, Mei, Symmetra, Winston). You'd also have to ask yourself if you want to include cooldowns if you're going to make his deflect near-perfect for the battle.
Genji dives too early and without healing he gets taken out. Red Hood gets overwhelmed and blames Genji for not being a better character for their comp.
Just kidding, it'd be lot closer but I'd still give it to Team 2 mostly for being more experienced. Even with an enhanced body, Genji was too closely matched against his older brother who has no cybernetic enhancements. During his sparring session with Tracer, she seemed to outclass him in combat. Genji's body also malfunctioned after receiving one hit from Doomfist, while Winston recovered well from a similar hit despite not being enraged yet. I'm thinking Batman is physically capable to 1v1 him and we know that Batman can 1v1 Red Hood. Soldier 76 being added to Batman's team only helps him take those two down. It should be noted that he's a physically augmented super soldier who oversaw Genji's training when the latter joined Overwatch.
@folly: Agreed. Although, it did take me a while to get used to them treating each other in a brotherly manner as opposed to Clark being the father/uncle-figure.
Given how Son of Batman and Batman vs Robin turned out, I'm not expecting this to be a good movie. With that being said, I have been wrong about movie qualities in the past and I'm really happy that Dick gets some positive spotlight in a DC movie.
At first I wasn't feeling it due to the poppy, teen vibe but after thinking about it, it sort of fits with Kara's lifestyle. DC live-action media has been pretty set on dark and edgy (except Flash) so maybe this will bring variety to the table.
