Comics I've Read - 2013
Every comic I've read this year...including almost every one I'd ever read before this year, because I reread what I had when I decided to get back into comics.

I liked the premise. It had a short run so I may end up buying the rest at some point.
Liked it. Understood why it's popular. May revisit.
This was so weird. I think I liked it though.
This whole Top Cow/Image Witchblade universe thing is super confusing as an outsider.
Liked it. Will probably buy the rest eventually.
Shame this series doesn't seem to have lasted long, but between the noir themes and Rocafort, I will probably pick it up at some point.
Decent enough? But I'm not really huge on amnesia stories after Memento kind of cornered that market.
I really enjoyed this, but felt the series could go either way. It's on my list of ones I'll go back and revisit if/when I have the money.
I may have enjoyed this, if I understood half the lore.
I'll admit it was interesting. But I didn't care enough to actually jump on board.
Wasn't sold, but I smiled at the end.
Short run. Rocafort. May buy other issues on those points alone. She was a decently enjoyable character too.
I'm now seeing this was only a three-issue run. Consider me sold on the rest. It was fun, well-written, and gorgeous.

Coupled with Choi & Oback's gorgeous artwork, this continuation of Laura Kinney's backstory extends the tragedy of Innocence Lost while helping to explain how she ended up in Westchester.
If you're of the baffling camp that dismisses X-23 as Logan with boobs, read this book and give her a second chance (or read Innocence Lost, which is more emotion-driven than action-driven and is probably the best excuse for liking X-23). I promise there's more than meets the eye.
The conclusion to Kyle & Yost's X-Force (among things), I actually quite enjoyed this event. Probably the high point, if I can say it, is Nightcrawler's death. It was handled beautifully from start to finish, and really made me care about him. Which is saying something, since this was my very first time reading him.
I didn't care much at all for the feature, but this had one of the funniest Deadpool stories I've ever read, featuring sweet little Loa.
I don't care much for time travel stories, though Deadpool is always welcome. In hindsight I can't swear I would have bought the whole TPB (instead of just the X-Force issues), but it was a relatively fun collection regardless.
The definitive X-23 story. If you read this and still don't give a crap about Laura, we may not be able to be friends.
