@the_mighty_monarch: You know, the funny thing is, standard users can't add page titles; they must make an official request for the name to be changed. And the mods who make those changes get all the wiki points for it. And here I thought the wiki edit hazing system was already a bit much...

@the_mighty_monarch: Ah. Well, the salient point is there's no longer a list of all user reviews. At least, not one that I've seen.

As for changing issue titles, I had the same problem, and apparently the ability to edit that has been taken away from standard users.

Ok, yes, the overall design is very different, but functionally it's not really worse, just... 'different.' But is there any thread where I can raise a specific concern directed towards the mods/admins/whatever?

I'm not going to sit here and whine or rage about the whole redesign, but I think it's genuinely hindering that we can no longer give half-stars in reviews. I use them A LOT because 5 stars is just a bit too vague a scale, we need at least a range of 1-10, which could previously be achieved just fine via the half-star system.

Out of curiosity, have you figured out where to even find the reviews people have written (nevermind how many stars they give)?

Some parts of it look much nicer. Some things have simply been relocated, and I can get used to that. But many of the major socialization functions I relied on and used are simply, completely, gone and/or broken with no guarantee they will be fixed.

Prior to the update I was strongly considering becoming a paid member, but this update has actually changed my mind. Read that as you will.

Adding stuff to lists is definitely more convenient now -- you can search by issue. So that's a plus.

But I don't know how I'm going to "get over" the removal of that flag at the top. I relied on it to know who was online, who I stood a chance of carrying an immediate conversation with because they were online. I relied on it to view the conversations my friends were part of (more than half of which are still missing from my followers list).

And while no longer needing to approve wall posts is nifty, the paltry 200 character limit dramatically undermines the ability and desire to have conversations on walls -- forcing you to use PM's, which of course are messed up and require you to go to "unread" in order to find new messages in ongoing conversations.

Their "resent" update, eh? Freudian slip or typo?

Seriously though, yeah...I know everyone's bound to make hyperbolic statements because change is uncomfortable, but this site is darn near unusable. I lost ALL my followers and have gained about 1/4 of them back. PM's are borked, it's even more convoluted to try to get to the most recent post in a thread or PM than it used to be as there's no longer a page nav at the top, and every single thing I used to use to get around the site -- the online followers activity button, the recent forum posts page, etc. -- is gone.

So I'm not exaggerating. Every feature of the site that I relied upon has either been distorted, made more complicated, or removed.

This is the first poll I've ever created (and frankly, I think it's stupid you can't enter any text/description when creating a poll...).

I phrased it as clearly as I could. Basically, I've been wondering (and talking with some people), and I wanted a community pulse. I'm one of those folks who hates this book because I'm afraid of characters I love being killed off indefinitely (or even for a while). Some folks loved Mettle, so they aren't even just "afraid." Plenty of people who like the book assume it's virtual reality. And some are only really in it because they see the deaths as a game-changer that makes the book more interesting than it would otherwise be.

So I'm just wondering, given the backlash and diminishing sales, if Marvel were to find some way of guaranteeing that the kids aren't really dying (I'll let you speculate on how, but presuming it could be done in the right way), how would you react?
