@ellie_knightfall: What confuses me is that in Nova she has the old outfit. I guess I'm still unclear as to timing, where that fits in compared to GotG proper. Anyhow, while I complained a lot about Starfire's outfit and loved her spacesuit look, I actually feel the opposite about Gamora. Her former outfit was extremely signature (skulls and all), and the new one's pretty forgettable.

@queenfrost_: @lykida: @ellie_knightfall: @hyenascar: Based on the direction they've been taking Gamora in Nova/GotG, she looks a little lighter (mass-wise) than older iterations. I've not seen Saldana's more action-y movies (Colombiana, The Losers) but I think as the comics and film move to accommodate one another, it will at least be believable as far as Marvel NOW is concerned. And of course personality-wise I think she's a shoe-in.

Meh, I don't want to hear about things "in talks," haha. I want confirmed.

There's absolutely zero reason to have people older than me play teenagers when there are tons of talented teenage actresses.

There's also no reason to change her age.

@mister_sensational: 31 is just too old to play a teenager. Maybe ten years ago I'd have agreed with the Glau pick, but not anymore.

@m3th: Canonically, she is a clone. Yeah, it makes no scientific sense, but this is hardly the first case of bad science in comics. The only difference is supposed to be the change of a chromosome -- again, terrible science, but officially she is a clone.

@chibi_iroh: She's a bit old, and I see no reason not to find a teen talent (known or undiscovered) for the role, but of all the established actresses I've seen suggested, she's the first I haven't recoiled at.

Hey, seeing as Laura's my favorite comic book character, I'd obviously love to see more of her. But...honestly, I'm not sure if a film version could even live up to my expectations/hopes. I think the margin of likelihood that I'd be disappointed is much larger than the margin of likelihood that I'd love it. Especially given what they did to Deadpool.

Added to the fact that I can't for the life of me find a casting suggestion for her that I've really agreed with wholeheartedly...

Anyhow, didn't vote because I didn't see the poll and I don't tend to do polls and honestly since the redesign I barely even bother coming here anymore. Not sure how I would have voted but again, it's nice seeing her get some love.
