Trying to get over my fear of drawing males. I will have to work on drawing muscles and what not but I saw a picture in JLA year one where Black Canary pulls flash's mask over his face and thought, what if he started running at that point? So I used that pic as reference along with a pic of the flash running from the same comic. I want to try and start drawing own poses but I'm a wuss.
@SC: Thanks :) next to the labyrinth is just a random picture. I hate using colours but thought it was best to try because I can't shade with pencil xD I use promarkers and they are real fun to mess around with.
Hello, I just decided to start reading flash after seeing him in the blackest night. I thought the cirrent series would be a good place to star as it is still pretty early days. However, I noticed that the first few issues are brightest day tie ins and I plan on buying the graphic novels. Does anyone know if these are set to be in the novels? I was thinking of risking it and skipping to issues that are not tie ins and then going back and buying them if they are not included, will I still be able to follow the series if I dont read those first few?
Hello, I wanted to branch into dc heroclix but was a little confused as to where to start. I have never played the game before or any games like it. I was looking at buying the hypertime premier edition to get some figures and the blackest night starter set to get me started with the rules maps and so on. Is this a good way to go? Are there better booster packs / starter packs that I should be looking at first?
I am about to start reading 52. I understand that the basis of this story is that the big 3 are not in it. I have not read any final crisis or anything along those lines, so is the reason why they are not there explained? Is it a little bit of information I need to research or will I have to read a lot of comics to understand 52?
