This is definitely an awesome idea!!! I hated the idea of Stan Lee as Odin, but I definitely think it'll be awesome to see Stan host SNL.

I think comic book films are here to stay. Now that the proof is there that it's a money-making genre, studios will stay on them. It's just like novels. Countless horror novels, or romance, or fantasy novels keep getting adapted to film. So in turn, I think comic books will keep getting adapted.

My biggest question isn't about comics in general, but more about superheroes specifically. There are so many great non-superhero comics out there that they can keep getting made. People will simply look at them like regular movies (crime, drama, romance, horror, etc.). But I'm wondering if the superheroes will run their course.

To me, as long as the stories and acting and film execution is great, I will never get bored. But thinking of the general public, I don't know if they will one day lose interest in superheroes in tights and capes.

I might also add Babs that it's not just Iron Man who was seen as a real serious comic book film who isn't just used to make money, but actually tells a great story. I personally believe that Nolan's Batman films did that as well.

Marvel Studios has proven it that they know how to translate their material into films. I wish FOX and Sony can relinquish everything to Marvel and Disney.

I will respectfully disagree with anyone who doesn't like this idea. In fact, there are many comic book characters who would be better translated in animated form than in live-action. There are just more possibilities in animation (particlarly 3D animation). Not to mention the wide range of creatures that Doctor Strange deals with will be much more believable in animation.

But I'm not anti-live-action-Dr. Strange either. In fact, if anyone has seen Sorcerer's Apprentice, it's a pretty safe bet that Disney are probably the only ones who can pull off a Doctor Strange film in live-action. The effects on Sorcerer's Apprentice were breathatking if you ask me. And that's definitely what a Doctor Strange live-action film need, believable effects.

This is one of my favourite animated shows of all time. It was a show that had pretty much everything I could ask for: great story, captivating characters, beautiful animation, amazing fighting and bending, creativity in terms of landscapes and animals, sweet soundtrack, humorous, funny, wholesome, mature, and best of all, epic. I was hooked on this show from the moment I watched the first episode.

Seeing them bring it back to tell the story of the next Avatar only adds to how good this show is to me. The very encouraging part is that a lot of the same minds behind the initial show are returning (writers and music people are back). It also adds to the mythology, making it a grander show than it already was. What I mean is that it wasn't only a world where Aang was the Avatar. It doesn't end with him, but the world continued on and more tales are worth sharing. Such like our real world. Countless wars and battles have been fought and won, but it never ended there. Life and the world continued and evolved with other issues being faced.

It reminds me of how I felt when I played The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. It was a completely different Link and a different time in history, but the story was connected to Ocarina of Time, showing that things didn't end with the Hero of Time, but that life continued on.

One of the aspects of this show that I'm looking forward to is how they will connect The Legend of Korra to The Last Airbender. I call it from now that in the final battle, Aang will have some role to play (at least by giving words of wisdom to Korra, much like Roku did to Aang).

This being a 12-episode show, I wouldn't be opposed to seeing them continue exploring with other Avatars later on. I wouldn't be opposed to see them delve in the past and tell the story of let's say Avatar Kyoshi.

P.S. The movie made me laugh a lot more than anything else. I swear not even comedies made me laugh so much. That was arguably the worst film adaptation I've ever seen. And one real annoying thing was that Indians were walking around with East Asian names like Zuko, Zhao, and Ozai. Just that proved the lack of logic of the movie. I often wonder why so many adaptations are being made in live-action, things come out a lot worse than they would in let's say CG animation. Just my opinion, though.

P.P.S. I do wonder if Air Benders will be prominent or if Aang's and Katara's son will be the only one, being the son of an air bender. Because if there will be other air benders in the show, I do hope they would explain how the "Last" Airbender (Aang) procreated an entire race all on his own. Maybe that's why he died prematurely? ;)

I'd be lying if I said I won't be going to watch this movie. But after a good start with X-Men and X2, this film series has become nothing to get excited about anymore. Marvel Studios needs to step in and refresh this franchise, and implemented it into its cinematic universe.

For me, the most ridiculous part is the Monaco scene where Tony simply walks through and takes control of the race car. I didn't mind the fact that he decided to dismisss the driver in order to drive it himself. In fact, I don't explain that as Tony simply being rich that he can do what he wants, but more due to his wreckless behavior because he was dying at that time.

What I thought was a little out there was that he was actually able to race with all of these professional F1 drivers. Had they simply added it to the dialogue that Tony races these cars for fun, I wouldn't think twice about that whole scene. I know that some celebrities like to race in their spare time, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that Tony knows how. It just needed a simple line to help establish that he can actually race out there. Nevertheless, I tell myself that he can race so that scene is still viewable without having to roll my eyes or smack my forehead.

The movie was awesome and even if to many, it wasn't as good as the first one, it doesn't matter. It was an awesome movie and that's all you need.

I was going to ask if this is an ongoing series or a mini-series. Or maybe a maxi-series. If it's indeed planned to go up to 60 issues, then it wil be around for the next 5 years. It would be interesting to see if they can keep this book as intriguing as they have so far.

The first two issues do raise some questions. And definitely some curiosities as to where they will take this and how does it link to S.H.I.E.L.D. as we've known it all these decades. And that is exactly what you want out of anything episodic: the curiosity to know what happens next.

Personally, my biggest question now is what is Howard Stark doing here? How does his participation with The Shield coincide with his time as founder of Stark Industries?

I think Hickman's a great writer. A lot of fans are back into the Fantastic Four thanks to him (and Eaglesham). The Secret Warriors series is popular among fans and he's done a great job with that series since he took over. At the moment, any title that has the name Jonathan Hickman on it has my attention.

As great and as epic as the last couple of big crossover events Marvel has released in recent years, I believe Shadowland has me the most intrigued.

I'm very happy to see the lower level heroes like Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Moon Knight get some serious attention.

I'm not too sure what to make of it. I won't lie, I've enjoyed the Hulk books in recent years, and all of the Hulks around hasn't really turned me off. BUT, my concern is if they're planning to make this change permanent (or as permanent as they get with Marvel).

Looks to me like Natalie Portman has great chemistry with Chris Hemsworth's hammer. ;)

Tiny little video but man does it do the job to hype me up for the film. Chris looks great and that HUGE golden clockwork looking background looks epic already.

Although I am super hyped, I do say this with a very grounded view, I have complete faith in Marvel Studios with this film. As I am with Captain America. I think Marvel having complete control over these films proves that they know what to do with their characters when it comes to adapting them on film.

Everytime I watch Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, and when I watched Iron Man 2 three times already, and not seeing this, I just want Fox to fork over X-Men, Fantastic Four, Daredevil, and any other franchise they hold. Same goes for Sony with Spider-Man, Ghost Rider and anything else they hold. I maintain my opinion that Marvel Studios should hold the film rights to every single character in Marvel Comics.
