That's what happens when you make a company a billion plus dollars. But this is really good news.

This run has been very good, not often do we get this kind of long form storytelling in Marvel funny books. I have been raving about Hickman's run for a very long time.

@pspin: I agree, I think that he did at least good enough to be given the opportunity to direct this one as well.

I personally don't think they should go this route, if this turns into a comedy, it will probably bomb.

I'm not positve about the flash but I know Batman Does. Almost all the creators said before hand that they are not changing anything with Batman, and if he didn't remember everything that happened to him, well that's a big change.

I agree that indies are the way to go, with the output of Image, IDW, and Dark Horse(among other) being so good, my stack each week has had less from the big 2, and more from smaller companies. And it always feels better giving your money to something that is creator owned. We talk about the Kirkman's and Spencer's new New Image book "Thief of Thieves" in our last episode of A Comic Book Look:

I would like for all creators to be able to have some sort of rights to the characters they create, but it's not a perfect world.

The answer to the question is NO. And I love that two-part episode of Batman:Animated Series, Like a few have said, This is Comic Books, you never see the end of a character (except uncle Ben).
