Im tired of seeing toad written as a joke character. what's even worse is the joke is shoved down our throats as if its funny. What do these writers think of us as people? They seem to think we're shallow enough to find toad being green, hideous, overweight, a janitor, and weak... entertaining. Seriously?

Why such an amalgam of bad qualities? Why not just fat? Why not just an janitor? Instead they combine all of these elements for him to be bullied continuously. Is it easier to make a uninteresting loser rather than an actual hero/villain nowadays? Toad has a good enough powerset to do damage to alot of marvel street levels. Why not add to his character rather than take? I could imagine captain America or some other hero figure coming along and feeling pity on toad giving him proper training. Thus creating an absolute monster. Give him something! Something as simple as carrying around a sword would have readers at least wondering what toad could be if taken seriously

How can anybody like that feline beast? How can he be an acrobat or an scientist without an opposable thumb? Makes no sense?

Leave him simian like and make him fight more to show off his skills.

And give him a badass suit...

You people clearly haven't played sleeping dogs through... wei shen was tortured by being cut numerous times on his chest...got a drill put down his leg from a sitting position...only to escape kill dozens of men leave to immediately exact his revenge by killingdozens more men...chase a speed boat down only for it to crash and blow up with him on it then survives and exacts his his by throwing and grown man into an ice chipper...

well id just do what most writers do nowadays. Make his HF through the roof, make him a master of all martial arts, then make him not only fight characters out of his league, but actually defeat them...pretty shitty but thats what appears to work these days

when did black become an ethnicity? black is referring to the color of dark skin... hes clearly black. his parents could have simply been on african descent living in austraila if thats nott too hard to believe.
