Too close, in actuality. You know why? Because, when you all say Reed, I'm thinking of Reed prior to his cosmic bombardment. And I honestly think that Reed prior to his cosmic bombardment=Pym. Reed has the advantage of being able to stretch his brain to make more neural connections, thus learning faster, so him, along with Stark, have an unfair advantage when it comes to intelligence, as their peak intelligence isn't really their 'true' intelligence, rather than their 'mutated' intelligence (does that make sense?). And that scan above has no leverage, as Reed doesn't have any feats to prove he knows more about Pym particles than Pym himself. And surprisingly, even though he says, "...everyone knows...," it seems no one in the room knows jack-shit about Reed's knowledge of Pym particles.
This is why I feel that Hank was honored the title of Scientist Supreme - because unlike Reed or Stark, his intelligence hasn't been augmented by anything (once again, as far as I know).
And to the people trying to say that Peter is somehow smarter than Pym just because he outsmarted Tony and made spider tracers, something Pym has been trying to do for years: that doesn't mean anything. That's like saying that if a 15 year old hacks into the government, he is somehow smarter than, lets say Bill Gates, who has been trying to hack into government files for years (not really; just an example). It just doesn't work that way. And anyone who knows crap about Pym knows that he has the confidence of fat guy at a marathon, so he was probably just spitting out crap out of anger or frustration.
Fanboy? No. (Hell, I love Stark, Reed and Pete like the next guy.) Realistic? Damn right!
