Gothic City, pre-Elysian Invasion
The busy streets of Gothic were of little difference to New York in the daylight- cars honking, men cursing, and wheels slowly moving were the sounds that filled the air. Among a crowd, Dave Loren AKA the Wolf Spider, in his civilian guise, was taking the time to explore the city, a bit of a vacation. He hadn't been here since meeting the vigilante called Dark Vengeance, roughly a month ago.
He was waiting to cross a busy street when... *BANG BANG BANG*. Gunshots, something else that the Canadian was used to hearing. Turning towards the noise as the crowd around him began to scatter, he saw a group of cliche robbers (all the way down to the ski-masks) loading bags into the trunk of their car, and a jewelry store with a busted door behind them; let's just say Dave put two & two together. "Huh, and I thought this was my vacation." He said with a smirk, before darting into an alley way. After less than a minute, the flamboyant Wolf Spider zipped out into the air.
The car was already racing away, but Dave was used to these kinda things. Swinging through the city at amazing speeds, the hero easily makes his way ahead of the thieves, turning mid-swing and letting go. The Spider crashes down on the hood of the car, holding on tight as the criminals yelled and swerved. His head cocks sideways as one of the thieves yell within the car. "What's that? Did you just call me a nobody? Yea, I don't really appreciate that." With that said, he smashes his fist through the windshield, grabbing the wheel as the idiot robbers went crazy inside, trying to keep it on the road.
