Somewhere in Some Empire

“People follow anyone with the most power…” she said, sitting on the bench. “History has proven that people fear other people with power” the aristocratic man said, pouring himself a shot of 151. “Truth be told, you’ve lost a lot of credibility, however are you even sure that anyone will follow you?” He said, swallowing the small amount of alcohol.

The sight of him trying to stomach the powerful drink brought a slight smile to her face; something that hadn’t happened in a while now. “I don’t think I made any mistakes…maybe not killing him when I had the chance, or possibly not killing her when I had the chance” she said, finally revealing her teal eyes.

“Contacts?” The man asked, cup still in hand, pointing towards her eyes. “No, my eyes have always been teal; anyways, I think they’ll be behind me more than ever.” Strutting towards the curtains, she peered into the darkness of the skies.

“Heroes are too concerned with themselves; they always have been, it’s why I never really had any faith in the Justice League; we’ve spent the last few years building these massive fortresses, and then dropping the ball once sh!t hits the fan”

“What do you think should happen?” he asked, taking a bite of a bagel. “I think if you can’t save the world, then you should conquer it, these empire only have it half right” she said, once again locking eyes with him.

“So….this again…” he said, scratching his forhead.

“No she won’t be for it at all; but change will come.
