Right there with ya; I absolutely floved his line-art.

I'm torn.

Long before any principle casting was done, I wanted Sony's quickie reboot of the 'Spiderman' film franchise to completely fall apart. Yeah, I know, I know; ZERO likelihood that was going to happen. But I just wanted Marvel to have Spidey back under their umbrella, so he wouldn't be trapped in his own sandbox anymore. Spidey rubbing elbows and snarking alongside other Marvel heroes just happens to be one of the many things I love about the character.

On the other hand, I was thrilled when Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone were cast as the leads. Would this have still happened, if Marvel regained the rights to Spidey and chose to reboot him on their own in a few more years? I honestly have no idea. But a part of me thinks it may not have happened.

X-Factor has been one of my favorite titles for the last few years. Peter David found a nice groove with the current roster, but I trust that the additions of Lorna and Alex won't muck things up. However, I agree with others that Alex and Lorna feel more suitable as spacefarers, than terrestrial X-Men.

Love the heck outta that Jubilee/X-23 piece; they seriously need to have a monthly title featuring those two have wacky, sexy adventures.

not excited for this. i thought cable had a memorable death, now just to bring him back, regardless if from another reality blows.

This is how I feel.

Cable's death in 'Second Coming' was pitch perfect; died with a smile on his face and Hope in his eyes. Sure. It was rather naive of me to believe that Marvel would leave Nathan for 'dead'. But it still feels rather cheap.

Normal, ex-superhero gal in a superpowered world seems like a great premise, but tone and casting are vital to this.

I agree.

Great casting and chemistry can often smooth over occasional writing hiccups and mundane story arcs. I'm a big fan of the 'ALIAS' comic and of Jessica Jones. To most casual viewers she is a complete unknown and that could work in to the show's favor. I just hope ABC gives the show time to build its audience, but I'm not crossing my fingers.

I wonder if Isaiah Mustafa still wants to play 'Luke Cage'? This could be his best shot.

Too bad. Even tough the recent story-arc felt rather clunky to me, the title had some promise to it and that's why I stuck around with it. Hell, I was hoping Jubilee would return because she and X-23's "Buddy-Cop-Summer-Release" friendship was fun to read. ::sigh:: Anyway, I look forward to learning whatever Marjorie Liu's "secret projects" are and picking them up in the not-to-distant future.

::sigh:: I'm going to miss Jerome Opena's pencils and Dean White's colors. Funny, I felt the same way, after Mike Choi and Sonia Oback ended their 'X-Force' run. What is it about this title that's introduced me to wonderful creative teams over the last few years?

Lastly, I really dig Betsy's costume change here (i.e. PANTS!). Too bad, it's not appearing in other 'Regensis' books.
