No, thanks. The movie was alright but it just wasn't what I expecting at all. I loved the idea of an alternative reality where the good guys had lost, the bad guys were in control and the public were oblivious. I told my friends the concept when I first heard rumours of the film adaptation and was let down a lot. Don't get me wrong, as a film it was a pretty fun romp but in my opinion rather pale when held up against the comics. When discussing 'In your opinion what's been the worst comic book to film?' this always gets a mention from me.
Nothing beats 616 Nick. I was dissapointed as well when they opted for Ult. Nick for the role in the recent movies but I suppose it's better to have Sam L. than Hasselhoff.
I always thought Steve McQueen would have made a great Cap, especially with the intensity that he could hold. All I need now is Marvel to invest in my time machine.
