What's the definition of a hero game? MvsC2 and MKvsDC are two great games with heroes in them.

Immediately after reading Deathstroke, I knew I wouldn't be following the series; he isn't a likable character.

The book seems tailored for a younger audience.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! It's interesting to see what other people would cut from my list~

According to the responses, it looks like Animal Man and Captain America are the books that received the most cut-recommendations; I consider both books to be amongst my favorite, so they're safe from getting cut anytime in the near future.

Thanks to your replies, Ultimates is indeed getting cut; I had it at the bottom of my list because it's the title I was most unsure of. All-Star Western is also getting cut: I can recognize the quality in the first book, but I'm not entirely behind the character, and I find the writing of Jonah's dialogue to be mildy irritating; I don't like how "I" is spelled "Ah" indicating Jonah's accent, it's pretty silly to read in my mind.

Uncanny is also getting axed (for now); I'm going to wait for the dust to settle before committing to this book.

So my list like:

  1. Green Lantern
  2. Flash
  3. Animal Man
  4. Captain America
  5. Batman
  6. Action Comics
  7. Ultimate Spider-man
  8. Justice League
  9. Aquaman
  10. Nightwing

I may opt to reinsert GLC into my list if any of the above titles begins to stray from the awesomeness I perceive each to possess.

@TheOptimist: I'm trying to narrow my monthly pulls from 13 to 10 for budgetary reasons.

I gave the first three or four issues of Daredevil a try: the writing is excellent and I can see that the series is set to be a quality on-going, however, I'm still not interested in reading about the character. Am I nuts? Probably, but I just can't get behind the titular character; I'm not excited to read Daredevil.

I managed to track down a copy of Captain America #1 from a few months ago, and I'll probably start reading it later this evening after I get some studying out of the way. I could only find the first issue for the time being, so I'll have to reserve judgement on the book after I get, at the very least, the next issue.

I haven't picked up any of the Amazing Spider-man books yet because I'm still trying to decide which book I want to follow; I'm either going to back the new Ultimate Spider-man, Amazing, or Avenging. At the moment, I'm leaning towards Ultimate because I'm intrigued by the prospect of 'new adventures of a new spider-man'. Plus, Mile's slightly different powers are pretty cool and fresh.

Also, I'm still trying to narrow down an Avengers book. The first two issues of Ultimates were pretty good, but I have yet to check out any New Avengers or Avengers. How involved will Cap be in the New Avengers? Ideally, I'd like an Avengers book that has Cap at the forefront.

Edit - I also checked out Ultimate X-men. The book is fairly good, but a little too teenage-ery for my tastes, and I think the roster is a little boring. I can stomach one 'kid book' (Miles Morales), but any more and I'll probably start feeling ill.
