I'm doing some research on digital comic books because I'm considering transitioning to digital-only, and I had a few questions for anyone familiar with how comixology works.

First of all, I've already created an account and added a few free books to my account to give it a test run. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to actually download the comics on my account to my computer. I don't have an ipad and I don't feel like downloading them to my iphone, so I'm trying to get them on my laptop (mac) to read. I can't find a comixology app for the mac, is reading books via the online reader my only option?

I think the final page's art is pretty poor. Not digging his costume or pose.

I only by a handful of books per month, usually on Wednesday. I'm in no rush to read them once I own them though, I usually wait for some down time or a rainy day to go through them.

I need help cutting 5 books out of this list. I just bought a phone and I need to cut my list by $20 per month. I'm leaning towards cutting the last 5. Any suggestions?

The new Ultimate Spider-man is off to an excellent start; easily one of my favorite new books.

In August, I probably spent $200+ on graphic novels. In September I purchased $90 worth of comic books, and this month I'll probably have halved that to $40. I'll probably stick with a $40 budget for comics for a few months.

If I take a look at the number of characters I actively read from both companies, it would appear as if I prefer DC characters. The truth is, though, that I couldn't care less which company I buy comic books from; it all boils down to the character and the book. Just because I buy more DC books than Marvel doesn't mean I like Captain America (one of my favorite Marvel characters) any less than the DC characters I read.
