I'm pretty good at playing real people though, especially people I know, because they're predictable. Especially when it comes to defending, I know how they tend to play it, so it's easy to play against their system. I have one friend who simply cannot defend against a lofted through ball, lol, so easy :)

Like, I'm kinda stubborn and expect the best from myself, but in terms of beating other people? As long as I've tried my best, I'm really not bothered if I win or lose.

@xenon_: For most people, yeah, but amongst my friendship group I have the distinct advantage of being the guy who owns the game and console, so I get much more time to practice than them ;)

Well my character is hyper competitive, lol, so it works out :)

@amazingangel: Honestly? I am an incredible uncompetitive person, lol, one of the advantages of participating in competitions for me is that I genuinely don't care if I win or not.

I have a few very competitive friends who are infuriated by that. If we're playing FIFA or something I'll be complimenting them the whole time and they hate it xD

But yeah, it was a close fight :)

When did location threads become the primary place to RPG?

Just a little curious when this transition happened, back when I originally came here there was occasionally some in character banter or small interactions in team threads, with the focus on the RPG threads. Now I see very few main RPG threads, with the majority of stories happening within location threads. When did this happen?
