In my opinion from a marketing standpoint they did a pretty good job of trying to lure in new readers. Having said that me as a longtime reader I have mixed thoughts on the changes on one hand it's interesting to see where the new generation of creators will take these characters. On the other i miss that history of the characters that I grew up with that for some have been changed. I'm 38 and have been reading these books since I found my fathers stash of DC comics at a very young age. Will I ever stop loving DC that depends on how far the people in charge try to push things by capturing a new audience while at the same time alienate the hardcore fans who stuck by these books
