Stan Lee doesn't have the acting chops to host the entire show, sorry to say. He should limit himself to cameos, it's more effective. Whenever the next superhero movie is released that he's associated with in some way, have that movie star host SNL. Then, do a comic skit and Stan Lee can make an unannounced cameo. That would be the way to do it.

This is what I needed. I'm going to start reading Teen Titans starting with #88 and the new Superboy so this 3-Minute Expert is exactly what I needed. Thank god he doesn't look like a douchy 90's teen anymore.

Oh, I would buy this. I would like this to be an ongoing. Great cover. Her rack is a bit too big but other than that, sexy.

Hard to recommend anything if we don't know what your taste is. Go check out some of my reviews. I've just returned to comics after a long hiatus so I've been open to a lot of #1 issues. I'd recommend the following:
Magdalena
Birds of Prey
Morning Glories
Batman, Inc. (first issue out in Nov)
Hack/Slash: My First Maniac
I, Zombie
X-Men

These are all issues that have just recently started so you don't have to worry about a large library of back-issues.

You know what? I probably would be interested in an all-female Avengers team. I absolutely love Birds of Prey so an all-female Avengers team, with the right members and the right creative team would definitely be on my pull list. I'm not an expert on MU, but I would expect each female member to bring something unique to the table. Though I would probably omit She-Hulk from the team. I don't know why, just because. And no cheesecake. That's not why I would buy the book, I want a strong story. If all I wanted were sexy-drawn chicks, I can pick up something by Zenescope.

That's actually a good title.

I was all about X-Men when I started reading comics. Now that I'm no longer a young, impressionable youth, I've expanded beyond Marvel. Wherever there's a good story, that's where I will stray.

I a born-again newbie. I haven't touched a Batman title yet (save Birds of Prey, which is killer) but I'm going to pick up Batman, Inc. and Batwoman in November. New series so it should be a good starting point. Superman #700 is a start of a new arc with a new writer (JMS) but I'm not reading any Superman. Spider-Man? There's so many issues that Spider-Man is in (Ultimate, Amazing, Avengers, New Avengers, etc.) so I don't really know where to begin. But Spider-Girl is starting in November so I'm giving that a chance.

As for comic affordability, go check out dcbservice.com. That's where I get all my comics from and thank goodness for the discounts.

The exchange rate conversion for your monthly fees is going the wrong way.
$4.95 USD =  £3.21 GBP =  €3.90 EUR

Not the extra bit of information I was looking for. I thought this was going to be about what extras would be included for paid accounts. Instead, this is just a post about mathematics and exchange rates. And the conversion for the monthly costs is still wrong. Plus, there's nothing for Canada.

I would considering paying (though not $50/annually) if they could guarantee spam accounts could not be created solely for the purpose of spamming blog posts and if the forums had a more structured feel. I'm not opposed if the CV forum was powered by vBulletin, honestly.
