Experts from a Q&A with The Hollywood Reporter’s Borys Kit:

DCE President, Diane Nelson, was straightforward when asked about her company’s difficulty in developing a live-action Wonder Woman franchise in the wake of previous fumbles with a Joss Whedon-led movie and a David E. Kelley TV pilot.

“The reasons why are probably pretty subjective: She doesn't have the single, clear, compelling story that everyone knows and recognizes,” Nelson explains, echoing comments Whedon said when he was developing a Wonder Woman screenplay. “There are lots of facets to Wonder Woman, and I think the key is, how do you get the right facet for that right medium? What you do in TV has to be different than what you do in features.”

Nelson went on to reveal that the development of Wonder Woman for a live-action role, either TV or in film, has been “one of the top three priorities” for DC and Warner Bros. since she took over at DC.

What are her picks for a big screen (or small screen) adaption?

“Sandman is right on top. I think it could be as rich as the Harry Potter universe,” Nelson said. “Fables. Metal Men. Justice League. And yes, I'm going to say it: Aquaman.”

I love this! I never understood or accepted a Diana who did not kill. She explained it beautifully when she fought Medousa & then Max Lord! She has no issues killing monsters even in human form. If death is the only way to stop them, then so be it!

I kind of liked that point also, but I would still like to see her rogues gallery in the New 52.

There are around, just not in her title. Giganta (Pandora), Circe (Men of War?) & Dr. Psycho (Superboy) have all showed up elsewhere.

Did not attack, but for a long time, in my opinion, Cheetah looks does not match WW as enemy

WW has always been the superman strength level, can you imagine the Cheetah moving planet or something?. . I can not

Did you see the Batman: Brave and Bold episode where the villains switched up? Cheetah took on Superman & was triumphant! Granted she had an edge due to powers created through magic (Superman has a weakness to magic) & Kryptonite laces nail polish, but this did show her as quite the formidable foe. She also put a hurting on the entire New 52 Justice League & is immune to Diana's lasso!

So far there has not been any interaction depicted in the comic. However, in a recent issue of TT it was reviled that Diana's brother, Lennox, may be Cassie's father.
