I have heard that the reason for the re-launch was to make the DC Universe more relatable. 9 months in & I had a realization! My life is a fairy tail compared to most. My parents have been happily married for 43 years; they have never had a fight, still hold hands & gaze into each other's eyes at a restaurant & write love notes to each other. My Dad, Mom & Sister are my best friends. I have strong moral values & believe in doing the right thing & helping the weak. I was also raised to be extremely opened minded & not to judge other but to accept & love all. So what if I am in my mid-30s & still single! I am a hopeless romantic & still believe that one day I will find a life partner. Reading about a Clark that is married to Lois helped fuel my hope, but until then I have two wonderful rat terriers who bring me great joy & companionship. I assume I always liked DC more than Marvel because DC was more fantastical & Marvel was a bit too rooted in reality & dark. DC seemed like a bright sunny Spring day in the countryside compared to Marvel's polluted smoggy over populated dirty cityscape. I want my heroes to be HEROES! I want to look up to them. I want them to be better than me. I want them to inspire me. I do not want them to be loaded down with self doubt, major family issues, drug problems or heavy guns! (Ok, I do like a Wonder Woman who kills). I have never been a fan of Wolverine or Punisher because of this & Batman is my least favorite of the Trinity; though I LOVED Dick Grayson as Batman, because he is to me a more relatable character than Bruce. When DC announced Earth 2 as part of the Second Wave I got super excited but after reading the first issue those hopes & dreams of a better world quickly crashed as I discovered that Earth 2 is going to be even darker than the Main DCU. What are those of us who want to be inspired by true heroes to do; will I be relegated to reading Tiny Titans or the upcoming Superman Family title? Why does DC feel like they have to pump in the ‘Doom & Gloom’ that pollutes the Marvel Universe to keep DC relevant? Would it be too much to ask for maybe an Earth 1 comic where we have a more inspiring DCU that is still bright & sunny? I know many of you will say I should just stop buying the new titles (Sorry I will continue to buy Wonder Woman until either it is no longer published or I die) & read my back issues. But why should I (& many others) be required to achieve our enjoyment of the medium in this way? Does DC even care about the fans they are alienating?

alot of wonder woman's cover were misleading or don't actually happened

huh?

Almost every cover has been a stylized version of something that happens inside that issue.

I was & still loving the current take on Wonder Woman; though, I am seriously missing the Wonder in the book. Diana seems to be a mere bystander in her own title simply watching her new dysfunctional family quibble back & forth. She has shown very little feats of Wonder in her own title & to see her as a real superhero I have to rely on the Justice League title. On top of that, to see her REAL supporting cast I have to turn to the Justice League title as well. Thank God Steve has become such an important part of the team & it is great to see the 'New' Etta as his assistant, a nice play on their former incarnations' relationship. However, I find it offensive that Azerrello appears to have wiped out several of Diana's past supporting cast members & replaced them with generic version of the same characters. I find it offensive that I have to turn to other titles to see Diana (& other Amazons) performing feats of Wonder. I find it offensive that Cassie has (so far) been removed from the Wonder Family (& Diana has been given her origin). I find it offensive that to find any reminisce of other past Wonder Woman characters I have to turn to other DCnU titles to see cloned versions;

- Rama in Capt. Atom

- Circe in Men Of War

- Dr. Psycho in Action Comics

- Grace in Superboy

And finally to add insult to injury, nine months in & still no Donna Troy!?!?!?!

If the book is going to be such a departure to the title DC should seriously consider a second title (Sensation Comics) & feature stories in which Diana is actually being Wonder Woman & facing off against her rogues gallery! Creators complain she has a weak rogues gallery, but hell! A weak rogues gallery is better than no rogues gallery at all. And in reality Diana’s rouges are not weak because they are only as weak or strong as the writer’s imagination.

I have the pilot on a flash drive. It will be an interesting footnote in the Wonder Woman mythos & could have been a cool Elseworld story. My main beef with the pilot was that it somewhat ripped off a story line from the Captain America Comic in the mid to late 1980s. It was basically Batman Meets Captain America/ US Agent in Ally McBeal's body!

Also the Etta Candy currently appearing in the Justice League comic is the same Etta Candy from the TV Pilot!!!

Why not make Donna Troy into Donna Trever or Donna Trever-Troy? Have her Steve's sister, who is mentioned in the FCBD by Etta. Her origin could be similar, found at an early age in a burning building but then adopted by the Trever Family. She could still be married to Terry but make his last name Troy. Perhaps she is the child of an Amazon who may have fled Paradise Island with Donna but was later killed. This way Donna would still have some ties to Wonder Woman & add some interesting new twists.

Did anyone find Pandora in Earth 2? She is in Worlds' Finest & Dial H but I can not find her in Earth 2. Is she only on the main DC Earth?

Justice League #8 made me very happy! Kinda funny that we get more of what we expect from Wonder Woman in the Justice League comic than in her own!

Also that little nano-bug could also create a Bizzaro World!
